My dad bought one of these in the 70's. I also owned one. These are very good guns. One of my brothers inherited dad's and stored in a closet inside a soft case with the barrel down, and the gun got wet, and the end of the barrel rusted. I cleaned it up the best I could and reblued it. Its still pitted, but at least the rust is gone. My brother hasn't shot it since he got it in 1986. Anyone thinking of buying an automatic, should diffenently consider the 1100.
ya i could tell by looking at the gun that its not that old and that you keep it clean and looking nice. And ya i hate all the people on hear that disrespect the videos that people put there personal time in, and try really hard to make. i just really like watching gun reviews on hear, and like to see that other people have the same intrests as i and know what there talking about. ill try to get a video of my 1100 on hear and let you see what mine looks like. but overall great gun/vid
looks like a great gun. I have a remington 1100 also and its great, i believe mine is an older gun, it has the white diamond on the bottom of the hand grip. but overall they are all great, very smooth and do not have much recoil. I agree with you on how you can almost hunt anything in north america with it. congrats on the gun you have a really nice peice.
@xxepikoutdoorsmenxx Very true..the gas-operated action eats up alot of recoil. This one is only a few years old. Thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching
