Looking at some comments saying the police should have done this and that, they should have guns etc. Well not really because we are not in the U.S were people like to shoot each other all the time, thankfully only special police need guns in this country, it is this in fact that keeps crime down. Having guns would just drive it up like the U.S.

@londonas2 the car didn't go far, this hapened in Peterborough town, and the place where they started the chase and the place where they stoped the pursuit is only a few miles apart, in that short distance not even the great american donuts eating five-o's wouldn't have done anything

@trainzeiro Because the vehicle was most likely stolen without keys (i.e Hotwired) - it's very common to bugger the electrics on a car when you hotwire it, thus leading to light switches being bypassed - you often see either the hazards or the brake lights on without being physically enabled in these kind of situations

i lost police once,on a by-pass in warwickshire, doin 75 in 60 zone.seen police officer with speed camera in central reservation,he looked up at me then signaled for me to pull over,but 2 full lanes of traffic to my left &my high speed prevented me from safely stoppin before first turn off, so i kept going, took second turn off, parked up on other side of bridge then waited, &saw police car speed past at about 90 mph, lol, so i took the country lanes for the rest of my journey.

Within a month of the speeding offence due to not being contacted by police i knew they didnt have my car registration number so knew they had no evidence. I was driving a transit pickup delivering reinforced steel to construction sites.
