I love the irony in this book since , if Bonvilain had not shot the balloon, then Catherines body would not have given birth to Conor in the balloon and thus Conor would not have been born in the air. If Conor had not been born in the air he would never had had his obsession with flight which thus led to Bonvilains demise. :)

Awesome book, but the ending was too abrupt. Left to be desired. Hope there is a following sequel about the further adventures of Isabella and Conor (even Sean!)

For some reason, although the book was predictable and I knew Conor would escape Little Saltee, I knew his life will be normal again, nothing could have prepared me for what came in between. Genius, absolute genius.

I'ver read it too, I thought it was really good. I thought it would have been cool if he'd somehow tied it into the 'Colfer' Universe though, like maybe Conor had seen a fairy flying and this inspired him to fly himself or something.
