2 days ago i found a sealed copy of Half Life: Counter strike in the big box, but like an ediot i opened it up and part of the cardboard was ripped off with the tape
That is an amazing and impressive collection! I've never had that much luck at a thrift store...but a few times I've made much smaller scores. One time I found about 10 sealed 2600 games for 1-2 dollars each...and more recently picked up a few sealed N64 games and several more that were boxed and mint. Some of them are worth a lot of money, so you never know what you'll find. Most days I don't find anything but junk...but every now and then there's some gold. ;)
@edr777 Yah, that sure is true, lately well more like the past few months it has been hard for me to find any games at my local thrift stores, flea markets, etc. it is like a drought, hopefully it will end soon.
@seemoremacstuff Ah, well I'm sure some will turn up soon. You surely hit the jackpot before...that's one for the gaming history books. I went to a flea market to visit some friends this morning (not to really buy stuff)...and in less than 5 minutes I found two copies of FFVII for a total of 8 bucks (from two different vendors). Sometimes months go by before I see even one copy for sale...made my day! ;)
@ashenclone Hay, I am going to answer your questions on how I got all those sealed games, it is actually a long story, but long story short one day I went to the Salvation Army thrift store down by my house and I saw they had a few sealed games, so I ask do you have any more, and since they know that I come in often to buy games they say yah, and a few hours later when there new shipment came in and they had a whole crate of sealed SNES, Genesis, and Saturn games.
@IntellivisionDude I found all of those games believe it or not at the salvation army. Some one who used to own an electronics boutique or otherwise known as EB games now because most of them still have their original EB game price tags. There were hundreds of sealed games. I need to make a new video for this one is way out of date. I have gotten more sega cd games, saturn games two new gizmondos, a Zaxon mini arcade, a brand new Atari 2600 Jr. and some sealed 2600 games
