  • good catch

  • I ended up seeing 6203 a lot during marching band practice in my freshman year of high school. Nice P5 (or whatever horn that is)!

  • an OLS unit to boot! if the made IC in n scale, that would be my prototype, i love the IC black scheme

  • I did notice the yellow front strip. At least they kept the side strips white.

Amazing catch. We get trains like that down here sometimes. Once I saw two IC units with a CN Gevo, rare stuff!

  • the lead unit wasn't online was it? all i heard was the GE. nice catch though, I remember about 5 years ago we couldn't go a week without seeing one on the C&O down here. there'd always be with a CN unit of some type on a sulphur train.

  • Damn Nick, nice stuff lately. Havn't seen an IC SD40-2 in ages!

  • Incredible.

  • Oh my god, Nick, that is just incredible! I wish that IC could make its way around here... that is RARE nowadays to see the pure IC SD40-2s on the road!

  • Hi Nik,

You got some nice videos on here. You should get a tripod. I shot alot without one and alot with...The tripod

can make a good shot Great!

I don't pay alot for tripods. I find them at yard sales for

    $5.00 or less.

Still, You got a pretty steady hand.

  • Great video

  • My great uncles worked for the IC. Great video and catch. I love CN because they have IC, BC Rail, and they're Canadian.

  • Nice catch and P3!

  • It's a P5

  • That`s sweet dude! I thought the ones with dynamics were sent to DM&IR territory.

  • It's rare to see a IC SD40-2!!! Usually you see the SD70.

  • that was a nice rare catch.nice sounding horn too.

  • Thanks, David!

  • Try watching trains on the J betwee leithton and Aurora. BNSF unit coal trains run through on that line!

  • Yeah, I sometimes hear those BNSF trains receiving track warrants. I've never actually caught one, though.

  • thats like, against the rules of trains my man, nice RARE catch. holy crap.

  • Thanks!

  • That was fantastic! Just, absolutely fantastic! What kind of camera do you use?

  • Thanks a lot! I use a Canon Powershot S5 IS for videos.

  • Thanks,

    JEAN-NOEL

  • You're welcome, Jean! Glad that you enjoyed it.

  • My God, that is BEAUTIFUL! Awesome video, and I love that P5!

  • Thanks, Joey!

  • GREAT P5! I need to come to Illinois very soon!!! :D

  • Thanks, Dalton! Yep, that P5 is a classic sign of the IC.

  • the trains go by yourhouse? you lucky

  • Yep, I live less than five minutes away.

  • wow lucky you? how far away to the chicago and chilli subs?

  • 25 minutes for the Chicago and less than 15 from the Chilli.

  • you should come to KC and railfan the St.joe with me. not much action but its niceish

  • I hear that there's a lot of coal on the St. Joe Line. KC has always been on my list of places that I'd like to railfan. Hopefully, someday I'll be able to make my way there.

  • theres a fucking anoying ammount of coal on the line and no other railfans but me in the area. and thats why i havent seen rare power alot. GEVOs ACEs and MACS, KCS tracage grain train and the boeing train. but there are some senic places. please come soon i dont know otherwize i wont meet another railfan until i can drive my self to the chicago sub where you meet up with a huge group of railfans or peck park in galesburg where tons of railfans hang out. im the only railfan on the st.joe sub.

  • I like fast moving coals and full throttle ACE's and MAC's. That Boeing train was really cool. I'm heading out to Peck Park pretty soon, hopefully within the next week.

  • the speed limits are from 45 to 55 MPH and im the only railfan on the line wich sucks and is why you gotta come sometime soon.

  • i dont know how you do it but you do your videos keep om getting and better whenever i see your vids in my sub box i light up like a kid in a candy store or me in a candy store keep up the amazing work and i know you will xD

  • Many thanks to you, Eric! I really appreciate the compliments!
