Its a matter of taste, and frankly I love it, as a female operatic singer myself, I like this passionate raw beauty contrasting 'ugly' I love the fact that she isn't afraid to dress in combat boots (the better to kick your ass my dear), it doesn't feel forced, its what she is comfortable in. When I play locally at coffee shops, its yoga pants and t shirts with flip flops singing operatic Alice in Chains.
