I don't know what I expected from the thumbnail, but I love Wy's version so I tried yours, too, and Whoa! Those big kitty cat eyes and that sincere and heartbreaking interpretation just brought a lump to my throat that I had to fight all the way through. When one guy said you had to "let go and let it out," I disagree. In some situations one struggles to remain in control, but your real feelings pour out through your eyes. You should be a singer and actress!

Love the story behind this one! Hope your wish comes true.. and I DO know what a double wide is.. we have them here in Canada too.. There was a whole little trailer park in Whitby Ontario, that I was unaware of for years. Located at the east end of town, on the main street, hidden back in the trees, in a place mostly forgotten.
Out here in the south they have tons of trailer parks. They moved into a retirement trailer park that they "winter" in. Their home is in Indiana, but it gets to cold for them in the winter. They love the florida home. they play golf everyday and my mamaw shops flea markets....retirement is sweet!

hey Chris! You know, i always thought it was a break up song as well. I was going to sing a big funny broadway song for him and as I was going through my ITunes I ran across this song that has been in my library for years. As soon as it started to play I just thought...that is a perfect song! It fits our story..our past. It was a last minute change and I am so glad I sang it. It made me cry just thinking about all those memories.
I am so sorry to hear about your granny. I have no idea how I will handle that one day. My mamaw is just as important to me as my papaw is. I could never stand losing either one. we're trying to plan it. for the first time in 14 years, my husband and i are getting a romantic getaway! the kids are going to grandma and we're going to the caribbean the 2nd week of april. we promised them the beach this summer though and still want to aim for july or august. it all depends on money. i would love to meet you!

It is amazing what a scent can do to you. They lived on a lake while I was growing up. I will never forget the smell of the boats on the water..the smell of exhaust. If I catch a hint of that smell today, I am immediately transported back to that lake. I love it!
