hmmmm i believe it needs to be a little less rushed. as i am learning this piece too, i feel as if it deserves a more calm performance especially in the A section. well performed, but a bit overperformed in my opinion. still uve got a lot of potential =D
awesome job technically, but id like to see your tempo stay more steady. at 0:50 you speed up dramatically, and it would be nice to see the difference between the sixteenth notes in the right hand throughout the beginning and the descending pattern in the left hand in the "B" section. they should be twice as slow, and theyre much faster than that. Also in the next part, the right hand rhythm is different in the right hand at 1:12 ad the next 2 times.
wow! hahaha! I guess you saw right through me just like my teacher did!..thanks for the constructive criticism :-D.. I guess being nervous made its way through my playing. I also got a couple of wrong notes! hahaha!
Every year we have this recital and I was always the finale (probably because I'm one of the oldest students)..for several years I played piano on stage but I always felt uneasy even if I had practiced beforehand
this is amazingim praticing the pieece for a recital now...im 15 and impretty goodfor my age iguess. but how your playing is amazing like a professional. your really good
of course they clapped.. they don't know the mistakes I did, it was too fast that the mistakes were incomprehensible.. I did it at a party.. in malls, well.. you can't play the piano if you're not going to buy it
yes you can, and people are gonna buy it if they're impressed by the sound of your playing. you can play pianos at a mall lobby, but the tension there is greater than on private setting
the malls that I've been on only let us play the keyboard and not the piano.. because most people tend to push it as they pass by, the owners lock the piano. I don't really see the difference on the stage and at the mall.. people watch you on both places anyway.. and on stage, it's quiet and there are bright lights
if you could get dozens of people to watch you while playing at a mall, then you've obviously got talent and flare. well, the mall, to me, is a different feeling. you get to think about people and not the piece you're playing.
i played this piece a few years ago, if you slow down and really work at each section slowly the mistakes will ease their way out... i know its really easy to mess up your fingers the faster you go.. just practice slowly and the rest will come to you! :)
I've seen many so called "professional piano players" at luxury hotel piano bars, main strip nightclubs that couldn't even touch this piece.Rustles of Spring is my favorite piece, I do alright on playing it on the piccolo even though it's a piano piece.
In short if this kid keeps this up with an avid devotion, then he will go very far!
galing talaga! Keep it up Jake..

eh, wrong notes are fine.
im a performer, and i know how difficult it is do get a run of this song with no wrong notes.
so im understandable on that front...

I think the piano I played on stage was a Yamaha.. but the piano I used to practice at home was a Mozart bought for 2,000 pesos 18-19 years ago.. :)

if you learn to put in a little bit more nerve and play this faster. this can be a really great piece to attract the girls at the mall

Hahaha.. thanks for the tip.. though, I already did that once. I played flight of the bumblebee and eternal harvest (from FF9) :)
