  • That was some bad rearend kick. If your front tires are off the ground when your rear tires hit the jump thats always gonna happen. find a longer ramp

  • The one true downfall to the Commander is it's width...

    Polaris RZR: 50"

    Commander : 58.6"

Despite the different of only 8.6 inches it really limits you if your riding trails that have width barriers.

As for this jump, it went wrong... Badly... it should look like bkjh5's video labelled "huge jump"

  • @leaf16nut i have the Polaris RZR S and its 60 inches wide.. wider than the canam renegade. But i see the can am renegade more as a utility side by side than i do as a sport or trail riding side by side. I would prefer Polaris RZR of this commander, but we all have our own opinions :)

  • To all you Polaris fans: This 'tard has no idea how to drive, the nosedive is DRIVER ERROR not a problem with drive by wire. On a machine as heavy as a RZR or a commander, Wheelspin & rpm while airborne have little to no effect on the vehicles if flight attitude. Also, What's a stock rzr make for power?? I think it's like 55 horse, a stock 800 commander makes 71. Polaris atv's are anchors, just like their sleds have always been.

  • Stability??????? It nearly face planted, you were lucky that fat pig did not endo several times!

The stupid throttle by wire system it has cuts the power when that barge leaves the ground and causes its nose to head down quickly. Keep jumping, you will wipe out for sure!

Same thing in turns, if the tires break loose the engine cuts the power and the Cowmander gets tippy. this is no performance SxS don't dare chase a RZR-S around because you WILL crash the Cowmander trying to keep up.

  • how longs the break in period

  • @joe23da the break in period is 10 hours or300 km(200 miles)

  • The commander will not nose dive if you know how to jump it. Look at my vids of my commander jumping and see for your self

  • Its good to see all the feedback! In my experience with the can am commander vs the RZR Discussion I would have to agree with the rzr being better jumpers from stock. The RZR is better with power slides as well from factory. Given with the right mods anything can be good but from stock the rzr is a better performer in race type situations. The can am out of box is a great machine for all around use.

  • Extreme HAHA LMAO!!!

  • wow, buy a rzr if your gonna jump

  • @ktmrider53 this thing is better than a rzr.

  • @motosportjunkie to go strait and fast thats it, theres alot of tire spin on the can am's

  • @ktmrider53 your saying they dont have good cornering or what?

  • @motosportjunkie im saying my razor-s will rape a commander on everything but a flat out race. 63 MPH stock is fast enough for dirt,, well at least for now.

  • @ktmrider53 i think your underestimating slightly, but idk. I said its better than an rzr, not an rzr-s. as soon as they get some aftermarket parts for it though maybe

  • @motosportjunkie well i rode one at a demo and there pretty beasty, i will admit. It did seem a little more weight than my rzr.

  • @ktmrider53 I wouldnt doubt it aha. It has the best power-weight ratio right now, at least thats what i heard. Ive never actually driven one, but i wanna haha. I saw one fly up Oldsmobile in Glamis a few weeks ago like nothing

  • @motosportjunkie yeah there pretty knarly, but like i said, not close to even a (stock) non long arm rzr, but faster

  • @ktmrider53 yeah rzr is better for jumps at the moment because the commanders rear spring are sot to hold like 600lbs so when you jump it, it bucks the back up and appears to nosedive which is a problem until aftermarket suspension and travel are developed. Of course can am would probably say never to jump it:D So i agree, rzr better suspension atm
