Ok, as of today Dec. 1, 2007 Vanderbilt is 7-0 in basketball so far and ranked in AP top 25. In Spring of 2007, Vanderbilt won the SEC baseball championship.

If you look at the total sports index (football, basketball, baseball) Vandy easily has the overall strongest athletics in the SEC.---------- That being said, if UT can beat LSU in the SEC football championship game, I will give props to UT and concede that they nearly have as good athletics as Vanderbilt in the SEC.
