WOW! At Last A Juke Box On You Tube That Plays At The CORRECT SPEED! I Have This Song On Cd And I Tested It By Balancing The Sound Of The Cd With The Recording On Here And It Is PERFECTLY ACCURATE! It Must Have Taken A Lot Of Work To Set It Right But You Got RIGHT ON!
@ninjabluewings There's no such thing as "setting" the speed on a Wurlitzer of this vintage, or most any other 45 jukebox with the exception of the 1960's Seeburgs. The speed is determined by the frequency of the electricity. The reason so many Wurlitzers of this vintage play fast is that the belt that is sold for these machines by parts suppliers is the wrong thickness, which makes it ride high on the turntable pulley groove, which of course increases the speed. No one seems to care though.
At :11, I would like to request please selection #A-6, Elvis Presley-"She Thinks I Still Care." I first heard this when I was in Germany in the military off the Moody Blue. You can actually feel Elvis' heart breaking on the line "when I saw her, I went to pieces.." No one ever since has been able to sing that song for me the way Elvis does. I know he was singing about Priscilla, but a freind of mine said no, Elvis really sang about her in "(You Were) Always On My Mind." RIP Elvis.
Ahhh yes.......transistor radios! I remember when I was a kid I liked to lay in bed late at night when I was supposed to be sleeping and listen on my transistor radio to those great 50,000 watt AM radio stations half way across the country. What great memories!
Great Music Do you know erhe i Could get The Jukeboxes anywhere in canada or the usa or you planning on selling any of them they dont make thme as they use too
I have a Wurlitzer 1250. I just went out tonight... big deal.... The best years are locked in these jukeboxes. I am only 36 years old but I love the Frank & Dean & Elvis through this old tube amp... the crackles and pops are a million times more sincere than any digital mp3 IPod Cd device !
i completly agree with you, i know which one i think will look a million$ in another 50 odd years..i got an ipod but its cold compared to a jukebox...this has sole
