I had a lot of friends who saw the Dead 20 or 30 times, one guy around 50. Crazy overkill, I guess. I was never a huge Deadhead. Still love Wharf Rat, though. Vintage Robert Hunter. I still believe Garcia was/is one of the great pure note guitarists in rock . . . ever. "Touch of Grey" is a great example of that. Beautiful guitar work. Up there with my man, Zappa.
