i'm just wondering. i know that this ISN'T the true ending of resident evil 1 to the RE storyline, and that they all (Chris, Jill, Barry and Rebecca) survive, but i was wondering, if this ending was true, what did happen to barry? that question puzzled me when i was a little 7 year old beating this game

She did survive, only after the mansion incident, I think she settled down and put it all behind her. In the novelized version of Resident Evil, she continues to fight Umbrella with remaining S.T.A.R.S. members, as well as Leon and Claire.

Yeah, besides Billy Coen and Sherry Birkin, she's one of those characters you never see again.
