Hard as it is to believe, I am told that this beautiful melody comes from an Israeli Chasidic musical. Our chavurah uses it in our Shabbat Amidah ritual. It means: "In the world to come, (there will be) Sabbath rest; From the birth-pangs of the messiah, the son of David will come."
