  • Do you know that servers don't get to keep all of their money when you tip them? Do you know most restaurants make servers tip out the bartenders, bussers, hosts, and expoditers based on their sales? That's why It does matter how much you tip on a bill....when you tip $3 on a $45 bill the server doesn't get any of that!! It's all going to their help! You should always double the first number or two numbers if it's over $99. Like if the bill is 45 tip 8 if the bill is 80 tip 16 if the bill is 12

  • KEVIN YOU ALWAYS LOOK GOOD OKAY!

  • fuck tipping

  • yasssssssssss for skorpion getting that man togther @ 3:00

  • ok, so i know this is late, but i bartend...at a VERY popular bar in hollywood....and let me tell you...TIP YOUR DAMN SERVERS! i wish everyone would work in a service industry job before you ever stiff someone on a tip. now if your service is bad...then i agree, don't tip or tip less. but in general, i tip 20% if not more. plus the tip goes to other members of the staff, i.e.: runners, bussers, dishwashers. so yeah. at least give a dollar per drink, or 18% of your bill. that's all lol

  • look at makaels face at 1:06 lmao like bitch was i talking to u ?? lmao

  • 20%= simple as that

  • OMG yall uploaded the video on my birthday ! March 13!

  • love love love

  • Your supposed to leave a tip between 15-20%. but if the service was crappy it was lower than that.. But there were times when the service was good and i tip more..

  • i proudly and happily don't tip!

  • @emjayy hope someone in your family dies soon

  • @wareagle843 that's pathetic. we live in the court of public opinion and you either take mine and shut up or you don't and you SHUT UP. wishing death on another person is the sickest thing you can ever do. you should be a shamed of yourself.

  • I was raised to tip around 20% and according to service. If they were rude and didn't pay much attention to our table, I won't even tip.

  • wtf?? if your meal is $10, you'd tip $5??? yeah, right.

  • i don't tip. waiters are just doin' there jobs ... in canada waiters make $11 to $40 per hour.

  • yes please tip us...we have kids, we dont have any other means of income....20 percent and we have to tip out other ppl it isnt all ours...and dont judge us for the way the food is cooked. not our fault...

  • Lol she said yes I did bye lmaoooio

  • Sounds like a conflict of the definition of tipping. Customers view tipping in the traditional sense (A non mandatory gift for good service). Waiters view tipping as something different (A mandatory payment for bad or good service). The laws support the customer because it follows the traditional definition. Until waiters stop calling it tips and start calling it service fees or labor fees, then they unfortunately will continue to have these problems with people they deem cheap.

  • Look at 7:01! they look crazy!

  • I tip 20%. The last I heard it was supposed to be around %18.

  • 5$ to damn much

  • I pay tips according to service. If the service sucks then sometimes I do indeed leave a damn quarter/PENNY! Tips usually range between 10-20%, depending on service again. Just because waitstaff can get paid $2.13/hour doesn't mean that the customer base has to leave a tip. Gratuity is not required just to dine out, but it's definitely appreciated!

  • just tip 20% on the check

  • "You probably leave a quarter on the damn table."

  • I think that restaurant owners should pay the workers more. I know a guy who owns a restaurant and he owns 5 homes and has 2 cars, one of the cars is a big suv the other is a Chrysler. Got lots of ladies too. He expects the hard working customers to tip his low paid staff.

  • My waiter at Chilie's last week was a total B to me and my Hubby..Acting like its so hard to bring me water..or some napkins...more mayo please..never got the napkins or mayo..no smile..shit...I left $2..Bye Girl..Fly Girl!!..I had a good waiter @ Cheese Cake Factory ..He was super nice..went above and beyond!! I left him $20.. Let me tell you that Wingstop has the worst customer service..if anybody wants a good website that gives you good restaurant/shopping reviews..go to yelp.com

  • Fuck tipping. Those lazy waiters want 15% of my bill just because they carried my plate from the kitchen to the table. How fucked up is that?!

    I never tip.

  • stop SHOUTING!

  • I totally agree to what you said about tipping waiters. But, I have another tipping question for you: I used to work in a hotel, and the housekeepers didn't get paid that great either. Since housekeepers have to clean up vomit and other gross stuff, and also make beds, scrub floors, etc, do you think the housekeepers should be left a tip too?

  • Stay at your local chicken wings spots getho fags so u can buy your self your 5$meal

  • As a waiter.... you wonder why you on the left gets bad service. Because people like you leave bad tips all the time. Bottom mother fu*kin line... 15% tip is normal no matter how many people are at the table and 20% is normal if you recieve good service. ( If you only knew what you were eating when you returned to the restaurant after leaving a $5 tip... floor grease, spit and even sometimes cum!!!)

  • my aunt gave a bad waiter a penny

  • and end with a dust, star dust. LMAOOOOOOOOOO

  • Guy on the left is funny as hell. He probably leaves 5% tips all over town and wonders why he didn't get his mayonnaise.

  • If you can only tip 2 or 3 "dollas" DO NOT GO OUT TO EAT! YOU ARE WASTING SERVERS TIME.

  • @J0rdy510 Gee, you'd think that being grateful for getting a tip in the first place would take precedence, but I guess I'm wrong.

  • TIPS is explained best as:

    To

    Insure

    Proper

    Service.

A $40 bill, Makael, calls for at least an $8 tip. A $3 tip is irrelevant, it depends on how high your bill is. If you tip less than 18% at a restaurant then i suggest you never return because when you do your food will probably be fucked with.

  • Makeal is hottttt

  • Man i agree wit yal. im a waitress n if u leave less than 3 dollaz on da table n u buy urself i wnt take it. unless u jst had a soda or sum coffee or sumthn or a piece of cheese. n makael if u asked me 4 mayo i wuld gett it 4 u asap kuz aint nobody gotta tell me bt wunce 2 get sumthn 4 em

  • Comment removed

  • wel this is jst youtube so i can use any launguage i want. bt thanx 4 da tip. n fyi i neva get nething less than 5 anyway so o well.

  • well then if you want to edit my comment then i must certainly want to do the same for you. you might want to capitalize your Y for yes and I's. and you are suppose to use got instead of get in that context and capitalize E for english too....your welcome.

  • Comment removed

  • ok point well made...we're done

  • @trigga1uk It's not unfair to expect people to speak and write proper English. Whether it's America or the UK, everyone is afforded the opportunity for a tax-paid education at least through 12th grade. Our national languages are English, and all grammar textbooks state what rules there are for speaking and writing. This system is completely fair. If you don't feel like communicating English properly, expect to be blasted for it. We need to stop coddling these adult babies who support lethargy.

  • and stop bein so childish i commented to share with makael and skorpion...n i really could give a rats ass about wat you think. duces and smooches

  • In germany tips arent neccesary, as it should be, because people actually get paid. You tip a waitress if she does a good job and if she sucks she gets nothing. Simple as that.

  • Comment removed

  • i tip $1.00 all the time..

  • You should Tip according to the amount your food costs. You shouldnt go out to eat at a dine-in restaurant if you can't afford to tip...That's why Fast food was created. A tip should always be 18-20%. if your meal is $10 tip is $2. $15..Tip $3. Simple as that....If it's spectacular service give the server 25+%.

  • Comment removed

  • That's not a TAX..it is a custom in our culture to leave waiters a monetary DONATION for the service provided. Waiters make 2.13 an hour in the United States. In order to compromise with the hourly rate, a tip is necessary. People cannot live off 2.13 a hour. SO SHUT UP!

  • Comment removed

  • The CHEF and DISHWASHER have an hourly wage. The Server has to give a percentage of the tips he/she makes to the Bus boy and Host/hostess. The percentage is based off of the total amount of food the server sold. So if a person has a $100 tab and he/she tips $5, 3% or more of it is going to other people. So the server is left with $2.

  • Some people don't tip because they come from another country and it isn't in their culture. Here in the UK tips are not expected and normally are no more than £5 (apart from very expensive restaurants). The reason some visitors to the US don't tip is because they don't realise that it is expected of them. Personally I would prefer for the cost of the meal to be more so that a tip was actually a tip as it is meant to be not an expected cost to the meal.

  • Comment removed

  • they should just call it a service fee. Tipping is complimentary not mandatory. You shouldn't tip unless u feel like u need to

  • if you don't pay the tips for waitier and delivery guy. you will 100% eat dirty food.

  • just tip 18-20% and nobody will get hurt.

  • That was so funny when that girl called in with that nonsense!

  • Okay stupids,

You tip a percentage of the bill?? 20%

    $50 bill = $10 tip

  • Well, it is true what they say. When you cannot attack someones' position you attack them personally.

So good luck making return visits to restaurants. I'm sure you will never know what happens to you aside from being ignored for other tables. By the way, your "diss" made no fucking sense. Were you implying that your ass is "something on the other side" so what is the side we are currently talking about? Your crotch? Because I was talking about an argument, not a body part. Grow up princess.

  • "booneification"

you can go to hell too.

P.S. you knew what the hell I was talking about when I said the other side...do I need to break it down any further?

  • 4 dollars sounds like a good tip to me, dont matter how much the meal is, they better be glad they getting a tip at all...esp. if the service is shitty....

if u give me shitty serivce, ima give you a shitty tip...

  • mariahcareynum1fan: 4 dollars is a fine tip.... on a 10 dollar check. On anything else, it's bullshit.

As is your "they better be glad they getting a tip at all" attitude. Clearly you're classless. Go enjoy listening to your washed-up diva.

  • "nekkidandrew"

    LOL! "clearly you're classless..."

WOW! thats really gonna leave a mark! if you dont like the way I tip or my comment in full, then here's an invitation to kiss my ass cause I don't give a damn...

  • I don't expect you to care if I think you're classless. I would hope you'd care if those who wait on you think you're classless, considering that you can't be bothered to pay them what you owe them, and are so willing to negatively affect THEIR cashflow.

As for kissing your undoubtedly flabby, cellulite-ridden ass, I think I might pass on that one.

  • "nekkidandrew"

Again, I don't give a damn about you or anyone else calling me "classless" on YOUTUBE, and as of right now, if your talking about money, no one is getting paid as they should...

  • You're right about that, nobody is getting paid as they should. This still doesn't give you the right to not pay what you owe. I'd love a Blu-Ray player, but I can't afford it right now. This doesn't mean that I can go and take the motherfucker, leaving 60 bucks as payment.

If economic crisis is the reason for your shitty tipping habits, that's bullshit. Tipping is part of dining, period, and if you don't have the money to dine out, a home-cooked meal is ALWAYS an option.

  • "nekkidandrew"

Uh! U AGAIN! I don't understand why you would care about how I would tip...What are you, a waitress/waitor or something? Your blaming the economic crisis on tip habits? now thats bullshit....

  • I've waited a lot of tables in the past, yes. But more importantly, I'm a decent human being.

And I'm not blaming the economic crisis on tip habits, which is something you'd realize if you weren't illiterate. I'm blaming poor tipping habits on people who blame their tip habits on the economic crisis. Which you already admitted, so I'm not sure why you're so shocked.

I dunno, I found that once I learned to read, a lot of things became easier for me. Just a thought.

  • "nekkidandrew"

    "I'm a decent human being..."

oh I wouldnt bet on it...asshole.

  • Actually, I am a decent human being. You're the one who asserted that tipping 4 bucks was fine and dandy, on ANY meal. I disagreed with you. I took the opposing position - the DECENT position - so I think your values are twisted here, sweetie.

  • "nekkidandrew"

    "Actually, I am a decent human being."...BULLSHIT.

I don't know you, vice versa, but you can't expect me to believe that after calling me illiterate and classless, puh-lease, you've got nerve.

  • I called you that only after you proved to be both of those things.

AND the simple fact remains that when I go out, I compensate the server nicely, every time. You seem to think it's okay to short people of their only source of income. So WHO's not a decent human being?

  • "nekkidandrew"

I didnt prove anything...you just assumed it b/c you didnt like what I said, and I guess you need someone to talk to.

so please, once again, kiss my ass.

  • Well, you did. Let's break this down.

    a. You expressed your attitude towards tipping as "they should be grateful if they get anything at all". This is classless.

    b. Your responses to me reflect no knowledge of anything that I've actually I said. Hence, illiterate.

    c. When you say kiss your ass, do you mean the regular one, or the one up front? Either way.... gross.

  • "nekkidandrew"

go to hell...take your literacy and class with you.

  • You know who resorts to bullshit like "go to hell, and take your literacy and class with you"? People who don't have a clue how to argue the point they're trying to make. People like you.

And you know where I intend to take my literacy and class? To restaurants, shithead.

  • "nekkidandrew"

    yeah yeah whatever...asshole.

  • Well, at least you know that you're wrong. You wouldn't be dismissing me with stuff like "yeah yeah yeah, asshole" if you genuinely felt you were correct.

  • "nekkidandrew"

    WOW!...u still talking shit....

  • mariahcareynum1fan said: "WOW!...u still talking shit.... and im still a dumb cunt"

Aww, come on. I mean, yeah, you've acted like a dumb cunt during our conversation, but there's no need to harp on yourself for it. You can always change it... and since you've admitted that you were in the wrong, you're taking a big step in the right direction.

  • "nekkidandrew"

I didnt admit anything, except maybe that I was right and I kept it real, I wish some1 would admit u to the hospital u wacko...

  • And you keep admitting that you were incorrect. Because you offer me no credible opposition to my position, you've admitted that you have nothing. SO, you're NOT right, and I think you know that.

  • Thats all fine and good. But you've got to realize that if you are a repeat customer, and the last time you were in there you stiffed someone. It most defnitly will affect things the next time. Some people get mad enough to tamper with food, others will just ignore you in order to pay more attention to tipping customers. You reap what you sew

  • "booneification"

Your comment kinda made it seem like I would not tip at all, when I said I would, its just of how much, its doesnt make sense of how they would focus on getting mad at me, someone who would tip, when some people dont tip at all...

  • It was actually your comment that made it seem that way, however I didnt attack you just provided a point. To say "4 dollars" no matter the tab is the tip "ESP." if there is bad service says that you are going to do it when there is good service too. A bad tip like 4 on $100, is just as insulting as no tip. I am just providing another side to the argument that I don't think you have thought about. You cannot control how they will treat you when you return, that's up to the server.

  • "booneification"

Oh I'm gonna provide you with something on the other side...

    (Hint) kiss it.

  • I live in New York City and I tip based on the QUALITY of service. If the service sucks you get a bad tip. I got into it with one of the waitresses because they made a big thing about how much we tipped them. I told her the service was TERRIBLE. She said something about how we are supposed to tip a certain percentage or something like that. I got into it with them and decided I would not go back there and reminded them that their service sucked and they didn't deserve a tip of that percentage.

  • it doesn't matter if it's 1 person or a group, guys. it's based on percentage of the totall bill, not the number of people at the table. that is an antiquated view of tipping.

standard tipping these days is 20% if you got good service. if you can't afford that, then watch what you order so you can tip, or take your ass on to mcdonalds. you ain't gotta tip on a big mac.

  • i would tip 5 if i would by myself

  • I totally agree with these guys...lool

  • i tip 8 if the service is good if its ok ill give you 5 if it was poor ill give u 2 or 3

  • I hate cheap ass tippers. When you go out to eat you should not worry about spending money. You are out to have a good time. I hate when people ask how much is this and how much is that! I understand if the waiter sucks. I still would tip %15. Im a server for 13 years. B4 that i used to tip like shit. I hate when people ask for dumb shit. And they act like they are the only ones in the resteraunt. I could wright a book on dumb-ass customers! STAY YOUR ASS AT HOME IF YOU CAN"T AFFORD TO GO OUT!!

  • Gratuity is now 18%, as of 2008.

  • Im a waiter for 10 years and we get shit on our checks. Its up to the people who pay our bills. Im a good server and i deserve a %18. If you can't afford to eat out. STAY YOUR ASS AT HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • alot of time when we get waiters and they see that its a group of young people , they don't give us that good service,.. so i don't have to defend shit that i do, yall stop saying that i should tip, so if you if i go out to eat, and we got to ask multiple times for stuff and you dont give good service hell no i am not tipping you, but if you do a good job your personable yes i will tip. i been to the waffle house and waiters did bad jobs, and the cook was more engaging and i haded the cook a tip

  • lmfaoooo that phone call was hilarious, bye girl, fly girl! lmao.

  • Most of the world works on the theory that if a restaurant cannot pay it's staff a fair wage then it is not viable just like any other business why should employees have work for tips? another word for that is SLAVERY

  • There's a waitress at Applebees in Richmond, VA! She was so comical. I felt like she was a part of our group. She laughed and joked with us! I tipped her big, along with everyone else! But every time I go back, I ask if she's working. That's what good service will do for you. It makes the meal so much better!

  • i dont really tip, unless they was just above and beyond. but its there job why should i pay for them doing there job..

  • TheRealAshland:

If you can't write out a sentence the correct way, I wouldn't expect you to know how to tip either.

And to answer your question; you tip because they are doing you a service, and without tips, servers get paid, at the most, $3.00 an hour. That's why.

  • Loll @ YOU telling me i cannot write out a sentence.

I could careless if they made, $3 or $10 an hr, gratuity is a gift, , if i feel they went above and beyond , I will tip. If not I do NOT have to. If they feel they don't make enough, Its not my job to go out of my way and make up for that compensation. Lastly I normally go to places where it is automatically added to the bill. and last , why the hell are you concerned with what i do?

  • It's funny how after I left that comment you obviously tried to punctuate and such, but still failed misesrably. You also made two "last" comments. Good try though. And also, I commented on your comment because you seem just like the every day, ignorant, arrogant kind person I deal with on a daily basis.

  • lol you start your sentence with "and", and you have the nerve to try and correct my grammar, lol i know who this is ...get a life loser... Hi, Hater! and out of all the comments on here, you chose mine to nit pick, ...geesh thanks . I have a new fan!

  • then you should eat at Mcdonalds.

  • Stay home if you can't tip. Thats a damn shame. They dont have to do shit for you.

  • ...so go to hell and kiss my ass, or get a new job.. its not my responsibility to pay your bills, i work customer service and i dont get tips

  • "its not my responsibility to pay your bills"

Actually, it is. When you enter a restaurant, you're entering into an informal contract. Unfortunately, you can't prosecute it - but by choosing to be part of the system, you're agreeing to behave by cultural mores. If you don't tip, that's a breach of contract. Period, end of discussion.

  • DUDE YOUR A NERD

  • And you're a skank, but we're all God's children.

  • What happend to all that proper grammar and good diction?.... thought so your a poser..with no life

  • What was wrong with my grammar? I'm pretty sure I spelled everything correctly in my post. It was short, grammatically correct, to the point, and completely true. Not sure how that makes me a poser.

  • so dunkin donuts and starbucks have tip cups,.. so because they make min wage i should tip them? that's what your saying? i should go into my pocket after spend almost 5 dollars on a blended lemonade or a latte and tip them because they have a tip jar and they are making min wage,..thats what your saying.. i tip when i see fit,...

  • I think it's nice to throw something in the tip cups for Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks, but not as critical. That's because they DO make an hourly wage - the bulk of their income is not coming from that little cup, and you damn well know the difference. If you're going to partake of a service where tips account for the workers' revenue, tip. If you don't, you're an asshole. Simple as that.

  • No, Actually it's not,. It's up to the customers discretion. that's why its called gratuity ( a gift of money, over and above payment due for service, as to a waiter or bellhop; tip.) so, if i don't feel the need to. then i wont. why reward substandard service... and for your f.y.i i eat at restaurants that take it out already from your bill. lol at you making up stuff,... so i should tip the cashiers at dunkin dounts?

  • We already discussed the dunkin donuts thing. It's a nice thing to throw something in the tip jar, but you're not a complete dick if you don't. That's because that cup of change does not equal the cashier's entire wage - regardless of whether or not you leave him something extra, he's still got a paycheck coming to him. But if you straight up DO NOT TIP in a restaurant, that's theft. I mean, that's a fact, dude.

  • so i went to a restaurant and got my food togo so should i have tipped?

  • Um, yes. The fact that this is even a rhetorical question for you boggles my mind.

  • your crazy and an idiot, she didn't do shit but hand me my food, , ...i am done going back and forth with you,.. thats like me going to burger king and giving a tip,

  • Uh, you're an asshole if you think that's all she did. Who was it that just "handed you your food"? Was it a host? A bartender? A to-go person?

  • how would i know,? should i have asked? ... oh are you a waiter or a host or a to go person because even though i called my order in over the phone and came and picked it up,.. and all you did was take my money. if your a wait er i am going to give you a tip because you dont make enough ...fuck out of here

  • Well, you'd know if you weren't retarded. You seriously couldn't tell who brought out your food?

Anyway, it's pointless. It doesn't matter if it was a server, a bartender, a to-go specialist. If you get it from a real restaurant, you tip, or you're an asshole. Only two options.

  • I'm retarded? your the ass,.. they all wear black pants black shirt,.. I don't know if it were a host or what,.. there was a host at the podium , maybe she was just a cashier,.. but i do tip when i see fit,.. i went to ruby tuesday at the bar, got an over priced daiquiri and tipped 2 bucks,.. an all the girl did was hand me my food i am not tiping her from doing her job, she didnt even wait on me my food was at the counter waiting on me.

  • Yes, but this is the point. Somebody had to ring that food in. Somebody's taxes are coming out of the total income they're expected to bring home. Therefore, if you don't tip, you're essentially stealing money from them. If you don't wanna "tip people for doing their job", you stay the fuck home. Period.

  • shes probably an makes a decent hrourly wage, i am not paying no one, just to ring up my food,.. plus i only bought rolls, and it came up to 3 bucks,.. lol next time i will tip her 50cents,.. for the 3 dollars of food i bought

  • It's not your job to discern that she "probably" makes a decent hourly wage. You have no way of knowing that. Just like I had no way of knowing that what you got hardly qualifies as a meal. If you're buying a side or condiments or something, I can see where it's not that crucial to tip. But were you to have gotten a MEAL, that would be a different story. If you get a meal or an appetizer or something to-go and you don't tip, you're an asshole.

  • no i am not an asshole, your just anal,.. i tip when deemed necessary , if i get bad service from you then no i wont, it has been times were i was at the waffle house and tip the cook and didnt tip the waitress cause she was being an ass, i tipped the cook in front of her to be an ass back,.. there is nothing cheap about me,.. i always dump my change in tip jars now find someone else to harass i am done with you

  • I'm done with you = I know I'm wrong. These two phrases mean the same exact thing.

It's anal to be opposed to theft? I'm just saying. That's what it is. That's what gets me about you fuckers - you've probably never worked a service job in your life, but you manage to criticize someone else's performance. One week in the service industry would change your perspective on the subject, this I guarantee.

If there's nothing cheap about you, you wouldn't be arguing this. Period.

  • Checkin this vid out AGAIN! Happily! Courteous of Makael's latest tweet! Get it boo!

    "Bye Girl Fly Girl"

    Google him, baby! :-)

  • i know i very late but i just started watching your videos, but you should always tip 15% of the check and for those who can not calculate cell phone now days have tip calculators that will give exact amount you need to tip

  • ltm... yeah i think its bad when people dont tip... but only if the waitor was actually a good waitor.. If they were rude or something like that then they dont need to get a tip...

  • OH MY GOHSH!

the idea of tipping & the percentage thing is so confusing. In my country its not mandatory to tip. We do it more as a compliment for service.

Sometimes restaurants have like a tipping jar at the counter, but its not compulsory to tip.

  • there was only 2 times in my whole life i didn't tip. the first time i was at this asian restaurant and the service was horrible, she just drop the plate on the table and walked away and i wanted to let her ass have it (well i did tip her, i left her a penny)and the second time was at a restaurant downtown broward in FL this lady was so rude and she just had a bad attitude. i didn't leave her a damn thing

  • GOOD TOPIC. I am a black woman and I think we receive the SHITTIEST service. I used to make a point of tipping well but I stopped giving great tips automatically; now I base it on the quality of service. Just know that you need to add 30% to the price of your food and drink to cover your tax and tips. I hate going out with cheap ass people who never tip and then I damn near have to pay for another meal trying to make up for their sorry asses.

  • 213 a hour thats a shame

  • ya off the hook lolol

  • Makael you are right a lot of people think that $5 is another meal lol

    you 2 are 2 funny!

  • LOOOOOOOL O man O man! Makael is FREAKING Hilarious! HAAAAAAAAA 1:11-1:20 LOOOOL I was thinking the same thing HAAAAA

2 or 3 dollars. Plus I look at it like this, these waiters and waitresses have like 10 tables they serve each day ok. 2 or 3 dollars a table times however many times they work a week is a paycheck. On top of that the tips may vary and get larger. Like if Skorpion tips, HEY more money in their pocket... Good point Makael

  • how ya'll feel about oprah and I wonder if I was the only one who notice how tv "blacken" up the audience .... I notice this when I watch a perform of patti labelle , Gladys , Dionoe warick was sing a song on her show .... I only seen three black people in the audince .....

  • Remember-T.I.P.= "to ensure promptness". This used to be given b4 being serviced, but as Americans do, we changed the game...why? Who knows?

  • Minimum is 12%-15%. 20% or more for those that deserve it is highly appreciated. As a former waitress Please, Please, please always leave a tip because waiters do only make $2.13 an hour and they do go through a whole lot to make your meal enjoyable.

  • you were a waiter and you make 2.13 an hour? wtf my sister is 16 she is a host and makes at least 6.50 an hour not including tips.

  • If you dont have enough money to tip, DON'T EAT!!

  • Theres concreteloop....I think their pretty factual and dont bash celebrities.

  • i say 5 dollars is the least for a tip

  • i dont think u should tip

  • Ok first of all it depends on how much your bill is. A good tip is more than 20%! Do not think a good tip is $3, $5...ect! A good tip is more than 20% of how much your bill is:-) If you do not have the money to tip do not go out. No one has time to hear the sob stories. I know nobody likes to work for free so servers and barteners do not like to work for free also!

  • I agree with you and Makael on the tipping.

  • Lol im from australia, and we dont really tip. coz iono, theres already government policies in place for minimum wage requirements and stuff. so waitresses n stuff, already have enough income to sustain them, so theres no need to tip. but if a waiter gave us like REALLY good service etc. i wud like tip $5 maybe :P

  • Bottom line...

Don't take your ass out to eat if you can't tip...

Also, the service at least needs to be on point, before I tip...

I hate a server that will ASSUME that you will not tip...

  • Fuck them haters Kevin...

Makael is an asshole... you are a doll.

I love his swag... but i love your heart.

Keep it real Kevin, stay true and keep it real.

The average nigga ain't shit....but you are real dude.

I love you and your heart!

    What up Makael! Fake ass!

  • I LOVE MAKAEL!!!!!!!

    i totally agree w. you!

  • omfg ok so this reminds me of when my cousin worked at that donald trump resturant and donald trump came and my cousin waitered his table and he gave my cousin a $100 tip!goddeyumnnnnn serious shit!ahaha funny vid :)

  • I ALWAYS tip. I tip when the people I am with don't tip, I tip FOR them and then don't take them no where with me again. You gotta be careful though. I tipped this one waitress $40 once and she started bringing us desserts and all sorts of stuff. I couldn't get her AWAY from the table after that! She was sweet though. She deserved the money. She was on point.

  • I tipped at least 20 dollars to the the waiter if I have it on me. They so kind and need the money. Saying thank you is also Good.

  • I leave a dollar sometimes, but Im in college and I let the waiter know that appreciate thier service and if I had more I would give more, but at this point that is all I can afford to give. but if Im in a group of friends than we make sure that we leave a good tip just because it is a large group of us.

  • HOLD UP!! 973 Stand up!!! Im from newark nj .. its just as gud but yeah she was just ...diffrent lmao

Theres no stupid questions just stupid answers lmao

But dat was a stupid question..or cmnt wait... idk wat it was but it was stupid

Common sense aint always common lmao

  • I work in a shop, I serve people daily, I help people find there clothes, I show people where the toilet is, I help people carry shit to there car, I've never been tipped in my life, Fuck tipping. Hes doing his job, offering a service, as we all are, and u dont see us crying every day for not getting tipped, do ya tip fire fighters or shit? nah, fuck that.

  • But Makael you have to realize that that 3 dollars that your tiping isn't just going to the waiter. It has to go to the person who made the food, the clean up person, and the Bartender if they have drinks. So the person who is their waiter won't even see that 3 dollars. I would def. tip at least 5, 6 or 7. IF they did a good job.

  • I researched this topic and found that the cost to a business for monitoring their employee's performance in the restaurant field would be astronomical. Therefore the burden of evaluating an employee's performance was best left to the customer who is in direct receipt of the employee's service. It should motivate the employee to perform at a HIGH standard of service. NO HIGH SERVICE = NO TIP. (T)o (I)nsure (P)rompt (S)ervice. Then its whatever I feel you earned.

  • PS...The proper tip is 15% all the time, no matter what! 3 dollars may be right depending on how much your meal is.

  • fuck jayz and beyonce!

  • Wow, u create your own utube page just to tear down artists. U are probably the type who leaves all hate messages on different blogs and stuff. It really is a shame but I am not surprised ignorance has no limits!!!

  • Whats your point?

  • thats it im not going to watch any more of your videos because all you do is get the opinion of the gay man.

  • lmao at the person who said 0 dollars and the reason was hell a funnie ! this is one of yourll best videos keep it up! i loved the bye girl fly girl moment!
