  • i i i think im going to cry

  • Genius and classic!

  • great song, well great album as well.

  • I love this song!!

  • totally agree, Soft Parades an absolute killer album

  • For some odd reason, I tend to like the first song on an album better than the rest. And in the case of The Soft Parade, it still holds true. I got this album yesterday for Christmas to finish off my Doors collection. "Tell All the People," is probably my favorite Doors' tune! Following it is "Not to Touch the Earth," "Moonlight Drive," and "Peace Frog."

  • @catastrpoheballet101 p.s i mean dangerous from the view point of the powers that be and to impressional young fans who took the doors words as the gospel. He did write the song The soft parade though and mostly the rest of the album. Peace, =0)

  • @catastrpoheballet101 He didn't write Tell all the peeople or Wishfull sinfull, Robby wrote them both and if you look at the album credits you will see the songs are credited to only Robby unlike other songs wich were written by Jim and credited to Thr doors. This song was to "Anti establishment" for Jim and he wanted no part in the credits. "Cant you see me growing get your guns" Follow me", those are very anti government and promote revolution which can be very dangerous. Wicked songs though.

  • very normal jim morrison.

  • "Tell all the people that you see

    It's just me

    Follow me down"

  • this song makes me feel like an oliphaunt

  • my fav album i dunno why people say it was their "Worst" i say its their best one

  • superb.

  • 1 of the best doors songs ..yet there is so many ...robbie really shines in his song writin ...dont forget he wrote their 1st number 1 ....light my fire..and a host of other top tunes...morrison was the best .....r.i.p jim ..wish u cud be still around ...its sad that so many brilliant artists are now entertaining god......

  • Written by Robbie Krieger along with Wishful sinful and touch me very talented man.

  • @mrmojorisin291278 he also wrote light my fire

  • @superelbeaner Yeah i know but he had a lot more input on The soft parade and was solely credited cos Jim didn't like the lyrics or the message behind this song as it was to "Anti establishment". But yeah he wrote Light my fires first verse and jim wrote "Love become a funeral pyre".

  • 2:40 I think it's the highest note of Jim in all of the doors songs

  • we will all follow jim down when we die

  • lol when hes says 'where milky babies seem to be' i was thought he says 'well baby can you sing to me'

  • Only Pam knows how he died and she took it to her grave with her.

  • niezły bajer;-)

  • God damn this song is fucking beautiful..

  • jim war ein poet kein musiker

  • @Dolby65 Jim war ein poet UND ein musiker.

  • הטוב ביותר בכל הזמנים

  • ROBBIE KREIGER WROTE THIS SONG

  • jim morrison is the lizard king

  • always loved this song .. been listening to The Doors since i was 13, still moves me listening to Jim.

  • Jim Morrison sucks hes a drunk he had no talent Bull fucking shit you call this no talent i'd like to see your Call of Duty addicted ass become as talented as the Lizard King. Who cares if he was wasted or high he sang poetry in motion. not many popular artists do that themselves.

  • @cmskid20 lolumadbro?

  • @innk111 Just a tiny bit lol

  • no dislikes..wonder why.

  • Morrison was a victim of the 60's drug culture

  • @villiparis victim?

  • @withouttail He was surrounded by people that surplied him with drugs pretending to be his friend then one day he OD on heroin

  • @villiparis jim morrison died on the night the first time he did heroin but it was not due to heroin OD it was because he had been drinking non stop for 7 years

  • This album is probably my favourite after LA Woman

  • fuuucckk yeeahhhhhh

  • get it follow me down... no one. lol

  • Such a jazzy bluesy album..gotta love

  • man the doors can pull ne type of genre off i rekon

  • I get fucking chills listening to this album,and L.A. Woman!!Two masterpieces.

  • I adore this song.

  • jims voice is awesome here!

  • @MSK2232 He was probably sober at the time

  • @MSK2232 is a little alike spanish singer nino bravo

  • I think this was one of their best albums ... if not my favourite, nothing lost in talent whatsoever in fact the music seems to be OUT OF THIS FUCKIN` WORLD!!! just my humble opinion. cheers to Jim

  • Don't know why I can always imagine Dean Martin singing this one. (?) :-/ One of my favorite Doors songs.

  • @CaptWindShear That's funny.

  • My favorite song by The Doors!!! RIP~Jim Morrison. ):

  • I dont know why people disliked this album

  • @GamecubeLPs really

  • @ThaDaxerB Yeah. Its great

  • @GamecubeLPs Agreed! Such a good album. It's hard to pick a fave, but this is a big contender. So much soul and cool. I wasn't born when it came out, but it seems to be a bit ahead of its time at parts. They definitely do it different with this one.

  • @GamecubeLPs Me too. I think its better than Waiting For The Sun or Morrison Hotel and I like them also. Soft Parade track is one of my fav Doors songs (esp. when drunk)

  • @GamecubeLPs cuz they changed a few things, added a bassist put some horns in and altered their sound a little, but im with you this album is so good, doors are great

  • @GamecubeLPs Same here, I wouldn't have expected anything less from Jim and the Doors.

  • @GamecubeLPs people is idiot

  • @GamecubeLPs It was too far ahead of it's time.

  • @chaos23 yea brother doors finest work

  • @GamecubeLPs any album with The Soft parade is a great album.

  • @GamecubeLPs This album had a lot of poem-based songs. Since, as Jim and Ray always would say, rock was turning into a show and people wanted fast, loud music so people disliked this. I always find this odd since Jim was a poet and the reason Ray liked his music was becuz of the deep meaning put into these songs. Oh well, like now people just didn't see the beauty in music.

  • @GamecubeLPs I love it.

  • Great song!

  • This is the most underrated album by the doors but it is my favorite album. My favorite song, however, is waiting for the sun.

  • A lot of people slated this album but I still think its superb, the arrangements are superb and there is at least 3 or 4 classic songs on it.....Tell all the people

  • @hoogenhauf Oo Every Song on this Album is great.

  • Comment removed

  • @hoogenhauf

I agree it's cool to chill out to in the car, dig shaman's blues, excellent arrangements, existential.

  • Krieger wrote most of the songs on Soft Parade, which is probably why it was so different from their other albums.

  • 11 months to record this...wow!!

  • claro k no pero jim es jim y bueno bumbury a sacado uno k otro refrito d cancion a no son tributos y jim no jim eras pfffffffffff no no no wapo y con esa voz k woooooooooooow

  • I love the arrangements on this song, and Touch Me, but I just can't help feeling this was a band without an idea of who it was and where it wanted to go. The production is so thick, in fact, the Doors nearly disappear underneath the weight of it. Thankfully they didn't continue in this vein and got their act together on Morrison Hotel and especially L.A. Woman.

  • @OroborusFMA

your an idiot, this is the last album.

  • @fuzzycuddles

don't say more!!! There was L.A. Woman then... and then 2 album without Jim!

  • @fuzzycuddles

no, it´s not, the last album with jim morrison was "L.A. Women" not the soft parade

  • @fuzzycuddles i think u will find la woman was the last album sonny

  • just adore this...
