Here goes another update... Our producer is continuously facing serious shortages in their production pipeline, so we will miss christmas.

As said, they are doing a lot on their own expense, and we can only wait and see. We have no possibilities to speed this up if we don't want to put the whole project at stake. We are very sorry for the enduring delays.

Awesome to see that this is still on track. It would be nice if you could get a better site up or something to promote this more. I keep checking the video for comments like this but it would be wise to get a site up and running so the various transforming figure sites get more wind of it.

Yes, or to put it correctly: They *will* be available, probably by march 2011. Our producer is mainly working for the automotive industry, and they got so much to do at the moment that the Robobuz production simply had to wait for some months.

Would love to see actual pictures soon! You got a great design going there that I want to have next to my Transformers. That and you just tackled a vehicle that no transformer toy has even dared to try. That and the price is incredibly reasonable for its size. As long as the quality and paint holds up, I'll be looking forward to the rest of the line!

@piplup2009 Well, though our packaging design and dimensions aren't absolutely final yet, I can at least estimate shipping costs. Without insurance standard shipping to UK is 3 to 4 euros, insured standard shipping is around 6 to 7 euros. Plus around 1 euro handling costs, we will probably get UK shipping prices between 4 and 8 euros. But we will post the definitive shipping rates as soon as all details on package sizes and weight are final!

Yes, we plan to ship worldwide. Can't tell the exact shipping costs by now; but aside from us, you will also get it via online toy stores with their usual shipping rates. The toy price is still not sure, but we are planning to go below a TF voyager class pricing. Also, size will now probably go up to 1:64 scale, that means 29cm bus length and 21cm robot height (still not sure, but we are working on it!)

OK, I now have posted a new video of the toy mold's CAD structure. There's a lot of good news; The figures' prices will probably go down, they will have more parts and details as well as a Mecha-Katana sword as accessory.

The bad news is that all this takes our manufacturer much longer than expected. They won't make it before christmas; hopefully the first figures are finished in February for the Nuremberg toy fair. Sorry for that, but this is out of my range of influence.

Not just a bus, an ARTICULATED bus. This is an excellent design and one custom I may invest my meager savings in. The only drawback is the name. Is 'Robobuz' really the best you can come up with?

Thank you all for the positive feedback! Well, maybe we should see the title rather as the whole project's name and not as the name of this individual bot. If this thing is successful, we will probably come up with more bus molds, so their individual names will all be different. I like your suggestions... Safeway, Bandcase... Very cool... We will discuss this over here right away!
