if some of you can't make difference between house and techno, i can help you, guys. so, this track is detroit techno - the child of house and electro-funk from 80's. techno is the electronic genre with the most complex beats that are a hybrid of electro-funk and house. techno has complex rhythms that's why it is called techno. techno may be slow as house or fast as trance or even faster in beats per minute, but when it is slow you can't confuse it with house. house has more simple beats.

The term techno came from the works of Alvin Toffler and was first used by Juan Atkins, and he used the sample "techno music" in said track. The term has nothing to do with the rhythms. And most definitely... techno music has nothing to do with trance!

I went to the University of Detroit man. You can't get a better education that that! Just ask Blake Baxter, Juan Atkins, or any of the guys from Detroit and they will tell you how good it is... And trance is employed by the most commercial parts of the music industry by the most commercial of dj's - ofter referred to as "top dj's" by some commercial DJ Magazine - mainly Paul Oakenfold, Sasha, John Digweed, Tiesto,etc. - which has nothing in common with the scenes that helped make house + techno.

@detroitologist don't tell me crap. in university of detroit you don't study for techno music. it depends on what do you study, music or something else. i was not talking about trance which by the way was created as blend of detroit techno and chicago house plus ambient music. the original forms of these styles. there are many djs who are good, good or bad they just record tracks some of them are pioneers of house and techno and i respect them for it. i just shared what techno is.
