Nice man. Im watching these since I haven't built a computer in at least 5 years. Which, in the world of computing makes me ancient now, or so it feels. So far I've decided upon both the mobo and the cpu. The mobo is a MSIX75A-65GD. Damn thing won't allow anything before the LGA 2011 group of processors. So expensive here I come. Oh right, the cpu is a Core i7 3930K which is the 3.2 GHz, 6 core. Just wondering if you know what kind of case I need to get for this?
Hey would you happen to know if this applies for the 1155 socket fans too, i mean the second sharp click sound. Also my fan tilts up on the side that's opposite to the side that gets pushed down, is that normal?
Haha lol, why are the memory slots 1,3,2,4...that makes no sense :P
Also, nice vid. I learnd how to build computers on my own. But I always enjoy watchin vids of it :)
The Coolermaster v8 is a good cpu cooler, i have one myself. the noctua UH-something is good too...i think. Was gonna buy that one, but it was out of stock, so i got the v8 :)
Is this intel stock fan necessary for the cpu or can you just use a specialized fan?

My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-P31-S3G. Does it support Intel core i7? And i have the same Cpu cooler as you do.

what about teh stock fan for i5?
imsososogreat 2 years ago
the processor and stock fan arrangement is smaller on the 920, and i still think it does a better job ;)
MrGamesOfficial 2 years ago
the stock fan of i5 has a extremely thin layer of heatsink.. which will get u a bluescreen afterwards.. just get a aftermarket CPU Cooler..
zhiheng2005 2 years ago
i will but later. should i just use some extra thermal paste instead whent using stock cooler?
imsososogreat 2 years ago
nah, that could have the opposite effect and keep heat in.
MrGamesOfficial 2 years ago
it will? ill stick with the stock thermal puty on teh cooler then
imsososogreat 2 years ago
yeah, coolers arent too expensive anyway. do some research.
MrGamesOfficial 2 years ago
Dun... The lesser the thermal paste.. the better the thermal transfers..
zhiheng2005 2 years ago
@zhiheng2005 it depends on what thermal paste you're using...
sebbetheo 2 years ago
Yeah... Arctic Silver 5 or Arctic Cooling MX-2(Cheap or MX-3 Expensive)
zhiheng2005 2 years ago
i see. what do people think about a xigmatek s1283?
imsososogreat 2 years ago
It is good anyway.. can withstand overclocking
zhiheng2005 2 years ago

In my i7 Build I bought an h50, just waiting for it to ship. Are you over clocking with the stock cooler?
ICHAS3I 2 years ago
definately not, but i have heard good things about the h50, i hope you get a good overclock :)
MrGamesOfficial 2 years ago
The stock cooler is good for the idle mode at 12x multiplier.. It kills the cpu..:( I m going to buy a corsair h50
good vid
