u clear the game, then you load your completed game, chose your diffaculty then when you meet up with meryl you have your old weapons...

yea have to go to laod game and load up where it says Epilogue:End then pick your new game on whatever difficulty. then when you meet the Mk2 it will be in your inventory

K after you beat Ocelot , youl go to this act called: Epilogue , watch that , watch the credits , then a lil cutscene will come , watch that then watch credits again , then youl get the option to save , save then it shud send u to main menue , then load what u just saved and it will give u a offer of what lvl to start a new game ( meaning big boss / medium w.e / then pick a lvl then meet up with mk2 thing and ull have all ur itmes again =]

It' son EVERY difficulty, just look for it..

And you have a ration equipped, and you press Triangle, which gives him one.

There is a quicker way to take out the guard a 6:20-ish. You can keep runinng up to him before he turns around, do a roll then crouch on the spot he stands before resuming patrol and just stun him with your knife.

You can also press R2 to cancel out the animation and shave off a couple of seconds, which is very useful when ever using the knife.

:) my quickest run on a new game bbe was 1:45:59. Still not as good as you though.

I'm not lying but I can't proof it, when I rented Mercs 2 it had to go through a mandatory update before I could play it.

It formatted my HDD and bye bye MGS4 saves.

I distinctly remember a 40 in there somewhere, maybe I'm wrong but I was about 5 mins slower than Adnan.

I finished the game 3 times and now i'm trying it in BBE. What he's doing is insane and I have a lot to learn. I just want to know how did he load as soon as he saved??? I dont know how you make it look so easy. I had a lot of trouble with the screen just before you get the Mk.II. Somehow, the soldiers heard me even when i was crouched and walking slow. I guess for you, you distract them with the other soldiers...

the guard was lloking away, the game changed since mgs1 and 2, gaurds have eyes and can move their head now, which sucks and owns in some parts.

How do you know that? And if that is true is there anyway too tell which way their eyes are looking because alot of them, especially the ones who wear helmets, wear goggles and it seems impossible too tell if thats true.

That doesnt count as a continue. The only way to get a 'continue' is to choose 'continue' after dying. Thats it.

A naked run is when you start a new game on the Extreme difficulty rather than load a completed game save and starting on new game off that file. That way you won't have any of the weapons or equipment you unlocked from the previous run, which essentially means you're "naked". This makes playing an extreme game that much more difficult.

If you give the rebels rations, noodles, or decompress....er decompressants(?), the rebels will like you and they won't shoot you on sight or trigger an alert if they see you. You pretty much become their ally. Sometimes, if you give a rebel an item, they'll give you something in return.
