Preventative medicine and regular check ups (something most Americans can not, or simply don't partake of) can reduce this number surprisingly drastically which will inject more skilled and educated workers into the job force.

Not relevant. While a right to healthcare and a robust right to privacy should be added to the Bill of Rights as Amendments to the Constitution, we do as Americans have the right to legislate reasonable legistlation that keeps us from being stuck in the 18th century.

Okay, here goes... I will try to explain...
Health Care Reform works in 2 primary ways.
1. It cuts down on un-needed excessive redundant testing.
2. It increases the number of insured, causing less people to "bail" on their bills which then the government has to pick the tab up for.

3. It increases the number of people who are receiving medical care. Including regular check ups and preventative care.
That has the side effect of also helping to reduce the number of people who will need disability.
That also has the side effect of injecting people who otherwise wouldn't be able to get them into the ranks of those purchasing prescription medications which increases the revenue of pharmaceutical companies which generates more per-industry tax income.

Health care reform like this also has additional benefits. Many college students, for example, drop out each year due to medical related issue. A sick family member can cause people to not be able to continue, themselves becoming sick can do the same. Preventative medicine and regular check ups (something most Americans can not, or simply don't partake of) can reduce this number surprisingly drastically which will inject more skilled and educated workers into the job force.

Yep, and all of those Democrats who opposed civil rights became Republicans. You know, fine upstanding southern Democrats like Strom Thurmond, Jesse Helms, Bull Connor, John Connally, George Wallace, all of whom left the Democratic fold and became Republicans. He campaigned in 1968 on a states rights platform, as did Ronald Reagan in 1980. What rights do you think states were fighting for in 1968, dumb ass? Not relevant. While a right to healthcare and a robust right to privacy should be added to the Bill of Rights as Amendments to the Constitution, we do as Americans have the right to legislate reasonable legistlation that keeps us from being stuck in the 18th century.
