What's up everyone? I am having a problem with the sega genesis emulator for the ds. Every time I try to play the game sonic3 and knuckles the game does not work. But every other game works great can someone help me or at least explain why it's not working.
@maddeo11 Not all roms will work with the emulator and that is one of them. You can still play that game on your DS however with the Sonci Classic Collection. Sega hired the creator of the NDS genesis emulator to help develop the game. You can of course dl the rom or support sega buy buying it for ~$15.
What's up everyone? I am having some trouble with the sega genesis emulator for the ds. Every time i try to play the game sonic 3 and knuckles it doesn't play and the same thing happens when I try to play sonic2 and knuckles. But all the other games i have on it work fine.
I only wish SNEmulDS worked a little better. The compatibility isn't so great and a lot of the games produce a lot of background noise and static, particularly A Link To The Past.
@gojebroz1 Yep, the PSP is generally better for emulation, simply due to being more powerful, and for having more attention given to the subject by players. Most DS emulators stopped updating like 4+ years ago.
that`s the reason why the DS is such a great console: it can run every GB, GBA, etc game, without any Major complications. i love the old gameboy and SNES games, and i bought a DS just to be able to play them again !!!
I have an R4i and I want to play GBA games on it. I downloaded Pokemon Ruby, since it has built in slot 2, but it didnt work. Is there an emulator for that?
I remember having a pack that included NesDS and SnesDS. SNESDS didn't work, but NesDS worked on my ARDSi after patching with Datel Games N Music. ANyone know where I can get this pack?
@efaustus9 so you get an r4 revolution kit get and sd card and you can downlaod sega games gameboy advanced games gameboy games gameboy color games etc to the sd card and play them on your nintendo dsi???
I am from holland and I looked al over the internet to find a emulator. but I can`t find the right one. I am looking for a emulator to play GBA roms at my flash cards.
it`s forbidden in holland to talk abouth DS flash card, I hope to find the answer here
i put all those emulators on my cyclo card and i put every nes, gameboy color, 1/2 the sega gen games on there. i used a a 4 gig. It will be a nasty all in one setup.oh yeah i must say the snes emulater is garbage

hey efa thanks for the emulator for the gbc listen there is a emulator of gba for r4 card without use the special card (i dont remember the name but i think is ez 3 ... i dont remember lol) if you can help me thanks :)
@DavidePilota95 its not an emulator. what you are referring to is the ez 3 in 1 pack. which uses the gba hardware built into the nds. It does not emulate a GBA.
total noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooob
Supercard DSTWO has an internal CPU that emulates GBA and SNES perfectly. On my channel you can find example videos of this and links where to buy it at the best price.
@nintendoromcards I'm having trouble finding a good R4 card. Right now, I'm really looking at the R4 SDHC. Any reason I should get a supercard over it, or vice versa?
I'm sure this may have been answered, but if I get a big enough card, can I put all the emulators and games on the same one without having to switch? Also, am I still able to use cheats this way or am I giving up the built in gamegenie when I play on DS?
in the process of buying one of the many R4Dses out there that supports cheat codes and ds download play of nes, snes, genesis etc........reccomendations on what to buy Youtube?
@superwario180 The R4 is decent and all the emulators will work with it. A DS game size varies considerably from ~16MB for Brain Age to ~128MB for LOZ ST.
@efaustus9 ok so use an R4, cause i want to play my old gameboy pokemon games cause my DS wont even play original gameboy games. I own almost all the gameboy color pokemon games.
@superwario180 I dont own a dsi so I am not well versed on what is a good flashloader for that system but I sent you a message w a link to a flashloader that will work well with nds and ndslite.
@superwario180 If you have a dsi then you would want the dsi cart though I dont know if the dsi version is compatable with the emulators shown. If you have a ds phat or a dsl get the regular r4. All the emulators shown will work with that adapter.
I bought a flash cart about a year ago and its pretty sad to see that all development on emulators has completely stopped, they were so close with the NES DS and Jenesis, Lameboy was almost done, and the SNES was just starting to come along, I wonder did Nintendo put a hit on these guys?, cuz while the home-brew scene is alive and well, the emulation development is pretty much dead.
@leonardo9009 1. The adapter I am using works with NDS and NDSL. You will have to use a different adapter for DSi and even then I am not sure if all the emulators are compatible. 2. yes. Read the description you will see where you can buy slot 1 cart adapters. The adapters are ds carts with a micro sd slot. you load the micro sd up with emulators and games then plug it into the adapter.
Wow, the genesis emulator seems to work fine...however whenver I tried to emulate genesis on my DS the games are all clunky unlike yours, How do you do that?
@Invidente7 I dont know maybe you are using an older version of the emulator. maybe you are using a different rom. In the description there is a link to all the emulators shown in the video.
ok the ds has way more power then gba BUT it can not play gba games without ezflash is because there is no slot 1 loading because ds shut slot 1 off when in gba mode reducing battery use
I wanted to know about emulating SNES games for the DS using a R4, is it possible to emulate SNES games on the DS without needing a GBA Flash card (Slot 2).
Check out Brotherhood of Leet at my youtube channel - a re-imagining of WW2 dramas like Band of Brothers and The Pacific as if they were set during the 8 bit wars of the 1980s where Nintendo and Sega are waring nations.
There is a working GBA emulator for the DS. But, as I said, it requires more RAM. So how did they do it? It works for a specific media player cart for the DS, I don't remember the name. "Well, what about RAM carts for Slot-1?" If you have a RAM cart for slot-1, it's much easier to simply run it through the DS's GBA parts. "Well, what about DSis?" You're SOL there. Unless you happen to get that media player.
@CybrgDragon there is a working emulator of the gba for the more powerful DSi. The regular DS is not powerful enough to adequate emulate the system. This is true even with a ram expansion. However a slot 2 loader can play gba roms using the gba hardware in the ds.
@efaustus9 I got confused there and said Slot-1 instead of Slot-2. When I said RAM cart for slot-1, I meant a slot-2 loader, sorry about that. Also, as you stated, GBA emulation is possible for the DSi, but only the less intensive games. The later, bigger GBA games tend to slow down if you emulate on a DSi. The media player I mentioned is a Slot-1 device that adds enough ram for full speed emulation of the GBA for both DS/DSLs and DSis. Just trying to be helpful and clear up any questions. :)
@CybrgDragon thats fine my point is that only the dsi can adequately emulate the gba. The DS/DSL can not. This is not just due to ram limitations of the DS/DSL. The two aforementioned platforms have a slower processor then the dsi and thus can not emulate the gba at a playable speed. However for the DS/DSL you can buy a flash cart for the slot 2 and play gba roms better then any emulator ever could.
@efaustus9 You are incorrect about that, if you convert the .GBA file to a .NDS file on your computer then copy it over to a MicroSD and plug it into your DS with a R4 it works just fine. No extra flash cards or anything else needed...
The DS does not have enough RAM to emulate the GBA, and is simply not powerful enough to emulate the N64. The DS is as powerful as or a little more powerful than an N64, but emulation takes up more processing power, as emulation EMULATES the processors. "Well, what about Super Mario 64 DS?" you might say. The answer is quite simple. Nintendo ported that directly from the source code, cleaned up a few bugs, and added new characters. It isn't emulated. How to solve the RAM? Read my next comment.
i have nesds, snemulds, and jenesisds in the root of my sd card and they are all DLDI patched, and the roms are in seperate folders called SNES, NES, and GENESIS but none of the emulators laod them! can someone help me out here
Is there a better snes emulator out there for the DS? I've not been able to play the majority of the snes roms correctly on SNEmulDS. Games like FFVI (3) and Earthbound get all sorts of image distortions while playing them causing them to be completley unplayable. Is there any way to fix that? I'd really like to be able to play FFVI again on DS without having to go out and buy the gba version.
search up...... emuparadise on google......then find the roms, then just unzip or extract from winrar and place them in the folder for roms that you would put in the ds...........
Please help me! I want to play with the Kirby Superstar. Unfortunately a white screen appears after I started the game. I downloaded tentatively the DR. Mario, which worked as opposed to the Kirby.
I dont need help after all i got it working i had to put the SNES file that had roms in Root of the SD i was putting it in other file so thanks if anyone else had the same problem do as i did put the roms in SNED file and put that on a root of SD it should work!!! Thanks
i downloaded this emulator now and it works perfectly fine... BUT!!! when i put roms in it it doesnt accept them and i cannot play them is there a special file for DS SNES cause im SMC file...???
the snes emulator is so shitty cause when i try to play super metroid it fucking has the layers all fucked up and no settings will make it look normal
The SNEmulDS doesnt find any of the roms even tho they are there it does not matter if i put them in a folder or not it doesnt find the roms... PLEASE HELP SOMEBOBY... ANYBODY I HAVE BEEN TRYIN TO DEAL WIT THIS OVER TWO MONTHS NOW PLEASE HELP ME X( X( X(
what about the framerate, looks great but while playing it it could lack, my biggets concern is the snes have anyone had a good fframerate, im about to buy a flashcart so i can't really tell righ now.
I have another question?? Are there Gameboy Advance,Turbo Grafx 16, emulators for the Nintendo DS? Also can you play Nintendo DS roms with the flashcard? Just curious?
There is not playable GBA emulator for the NDS. However if you buy an additional slot 2 flashcard then you can play gba roms. I have yet to find a TG-16 emulator for the NDS. Yes you can play NDS roms with the card.
u make no changes to the ds itself. this employs a flash cart which is a ds game cart the a slot for a micro sd flash card. Load up the card with emulators put it in the ds cart and then have some fun.
I'm new at this, so bare with me efaustus9. But what is it that I should get if I want to play nes, gameboy color games? And R4? And what else? And where does one go to download these games?

Is there a better snes emulator out there for the DS? I've not been able to play the majority of the snes roms correctly on SNEmulDS. Games like FFVI (3) and Earthbound get all sorts of image distortions while playing them causing them to be completley unplayable. Is there any way to fix that? I'd really like to be able to play FFVI again on DS without having to go out and buy the gba version.

search up...... emuparadise on google......then find the roms, then just unzip or extract from winrar and place them in the folder for roms that you would put in the ds...........

If i get a flashcard like R4.Can i still play my regualry games that i bought or must i download them to play.sorry for my bad english :(
malus97 1 year ago
the R4 card works just like a game. plug it in to play homebrew and roms or switch it out and play a store bought game. you lose nothing.

Please help me! I want to play with the Kirby Superstar. Unfortunately a white screen appears after I started the game. I downloaded tentatively the DR. Mario, which worked as opposed to the Kirby.
szalacsi10 1 year ago
you can play them all right, but if you download them to r4 you can use cheats, too.

I have another question?? Are there Gameboy Advance,Turbo Grafx 16, emulators for the Nintendo DS? Also can you play Nintendo DS roms with the flashcard? Just curious?
ATLien333 2 years ago
There is not playable GBA emulator for the NDS. However if you buy an additional slot 2 flashcard then you can play gba roms. I have yet to find a TG-16 emulator for the NDS. Yes you can play NDS roms with the card.

Two questions. 1 can I run ROM hacks with this? 2 will I still be able to play my DS and GBA games on the ds?
Protomasterexe 2 years ago
u make no changes to the ds itself. this employs a flash cart which is a ds game cart the a slot for a micro sd flash card. Load up the card with emulators put it in the ds cart and then have some fun.

I'm new at this, so bare with me efaustus9. But what is it that I should get if I want to play nes, gameboy color games? And R4? And what else? And where does one go to download these games?
eaintx 2 years ago
@eaintx
You should buy the R4i - SHDC (Red box on cover) and download the programs onto it. I got mine for $11.30.
For downloading roms, just go on youtube, type The Best Emulator for DS Sites and choose your favorite.
Hope I helped.
KingThunder712 2 years ago
Thanks kingthunder, but it shouldn't matter if I have the DS lite, right? Where did you get yours?
eaintx 2 years ago
links to the emuators shown can be found in the description. Also in the video I am using a ds lite.
efaustus9 2 years ago
Yeah, it wouldn't matter. I got mine from Dealextreme (.() com.
