do need to be smart to become pharmacy tech,coz im studying now and i pretty much didnt understand 70% of my math problems so yha....plzz someone inform me tnzzz

@navarre1031 Truth is that its tough out there right now to get ANY job. But the good news is, that the economy is getting better. Never the less, you must get your education. You will never regret getting it.

Why would they make this up? In my state I've been a Licensed Pharmacy Technician for over 5 years and there are never openings for Pharmacy Technician and now Pharmacist are finding it hard out here! Ask anybody that took the program in Utah they will tell you its impossible! Time and money :'(

@Rob120541 hi im taking a pharmacy tehnician course this year i read your omment and it made me worried about if i should should take the course now . is it just where you live making it hard to find a technician job or what, i live in illinois. is it even worth it now?

I would think there would possibly be more opportunity out there? In however, I think if you would like to do that go to not one, but a few pharmacies and speak with the pharmacists on demands for techs. out there. Inquire about the duties as well.
