This all happened. This entire series is based off the book Band of Brothers which is based off of letters and the stories of the people who were still alive when the book was written. Anyone who thinks this is partly fiction is lying.

This is based off the Band of Brothers episode Crossroads which is based on a the true stories and accounts of the men of Easy company of the 101st airborne who actually fought in this battle that dwalker771 based this on. If you don't believe me and want to see for your self read Winters biography, The Biggest Brother, or the book Band of Brothers. Oh by the way I read both books and own the whole band of brothers series and he lives.
