as much as you nitro boys hate it, brushless is the future of rc. As others have said, no tweaking of needles, no foul mess to clean up at the end of a run, and brushless motors produce 100% torque at 0 rpm, try that with a nitro engine. Plus they will spin upto and over 100,000 rpm, i dont know of a glow motor that will do that. Now you see why most people are starting to adopt the technology?

Tell us your runtime with that setup!! I am now switching to electric and I am still disappointed with the runtime compared to nitros, maybe I should spend some more bucks on good lipos, anyhow, nitro will flow in the vein forever.

Looks unfair! Nitros are very popular, but elctrics are incredibly fast with the brushless technology, eventually we might see an electric class for every vehicle type out there.

seen some electric 1/8 offroad cars at the tracks in southern Ontario,CA. very smooth and powerful. wont be long before the flashlights start to shine over the fuel!! that prototype passed the others with ease. Great video.

scott kimbrow could own alot with a little, hes a hell of a driver. not to denounce this guys work or anything cuz thats quite an undertaking converting a nitro to and electric, but if this is the future, im out! gotta have nitro! nothing beats throwin fuel in the tank puttin it on the box and goin. waiting a half hour for batteries to charge and running for 5 mins at a time, doesnt get a rise outta me, sorry electric guys!! i dont mean any harm by my comments

It's too bad some feel this way. And the runtime is not 5 minutes.... try 20-30 minutes. (that's what the offorad 1/8 setups are doing) Sorry to further depress you LOL

yeahh, i wish i had the funds for this, but probably wont. Did you ever see the ad for those yellow lipos (trackpower i think)? they have a brushless 1/8th, and this thing was so slick. Everything on it was about 1 inch over the ground, and it had two 7.6v lipos connected to one.
