Knitting a Tube on the Modified Bond Ribber - Part 1

Very clever! Did you have the factory Bond ribber? Or did you rig 2 machines like that? If you were to use your cardboard keyplate & holder for a very long time, it would take a lot of abuse. I was thinking you might want to coat it in epoxy or the like to keep it going! Love your ingenuity.

I have the factory ribber. You'd have to reinforce the bottom of a regular bed to keep it from sagging in the middle and make the brackets too. Wish I knew how to work with metals! I coated all the cardboard pieces with several layers of glue but epoxy would be better.

I wish they would make another ribber as dependable as the one they made for the Elite. With sufficient advertisement, videotaped instructions & plenty of patterns, I think it would sell. I would buy one out of sheer curiosity!
