@mort095f I used Minecraft 1.0 creative mode for building and viewing the structure. MCEdit to copy repetitive structural elements and lower the terrain to fit the bridge under the upper limit of Minecraft. For recording the video I used Bandicam. And to edit the video I used Sony Vegas Pro 9.

@petersupermann I did a 2/3 scale Brooklyn Bridge out of cobble stone and lava a long time ago, back in Alpha. My Hellgate Bridge was a huge success compared to my other videos on youtube, and the Ice Bridge was popular as well. Bridges are cool. I didn't have any videos of a suspension bridge so I built the one that seems to be the most architecturally distinguished. The Golden Gate Bridge is so overdone, and it's a simple design. I thought the trusses would be a fun challenge.

Is this sped up? Or are you running on a fucking super computer? If I were to play on this world my game would freeze every 2 steps. That or my computer is a piece of crap... probably the latter
