As a person who is just learning to play an Acoustic guitar I agree 100%. Forget about most people can't sing and play a guitar but most people can't play the guitar and keep a strumming pattern.

I am putting out videos of my learning the guitar process and week1 to week 7 is a big improvement but I'm a long way from singing on a video. Doesn't mean I don't sing when I play but nothing close to being able to do it in a video.

Overall it's good but here are some constructive criticism: First chord should be em7 (first inversion); doesn't sound quite right; add more smoothness to the melody with your voice (don't clip words abruptly) get the pitch right, you are a little flat in spots

This is kind of a late reply, but I will say thanks for the critique. The first chord actually is an Em7 - I played it with the D on the B string, as I liked the sound a little better than the straight B on the B string. I'm not a natural singer, so I'll work on the tones a bit, and the follow through. Thanks!
