I was in this show 6 years ago. This is such a heavy show to do. It's such a fun show tho. I remember our choreography was what you see in the official DVD, it was crazy, but so much fun. You guy's sound fabulous for a high school. I can't even fathom if my alma mater performed this. Brava.

Great performances! That opening music was really rushed though....but I don't think anyone can complain with such a great performance done by a high school group. Bravo!! Brava!!!!

In my theatre company there's this one girl who's voice always cracks when she try's to go high. Overall that was really good and YOU have an amazing voice! Props to Tugger, you were amazing!

Cats has a hefty cast, and schools typically don't have enough students to fill the roles, that this school had to add roles makes me really happy. Maybe there is hope for the arts yet!
@kanumbra not all students need to be involved, if you audition and are good enough to get a name then thats great, but there is a reason writers put so many cats in this show, because that is ALL they wanted on stage
was this a live orchestra? High school productions always seem to be held back by the quality of its pit orchestra-- and this one sounds like a recording which aids the dancers and singers immensely. Is it live????
Thanks! I plan to record some vids of me singing later. The girl that sang after me was sick that day, so it was very unfortunate. Normally she is a very nice singer. I think the main problem here, is we didn't have enough mics for everyone!

As far as I know the high school performance's in Europe are never as well rehersed and performed! The stage, the voices and YES! the coreography are all really, really good for a group of teenagers! I think that was amazing, even with the choreography changed. I mean, you have to think. This is a highschool production, and unless it's a preforming art's school, it's going to be a pain in the rear to find teens that will wear all that. Plus there seems to be DOUBLE the amount of Cats on stage here vs. The video or broadway production. All in all, pretty damned sweet.

Out of all broadway musicals, CATS has always been a favorite of my family, I've seen it in London, in Los Angeles, Chicago, and in my home state of Arizona. I wish my High School would have put on something like this, but apparently we were pretty cheap. This is AMAZING!! BRAVO!

oh...my...god... THAT WAS TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! I have goosebumps!!! That was so amazingly spectacular. Your group is very talented. The only things i didn't like were "Were you there when the..." line was too quiet. and the girls voice cracked on "Would you sit on his throne?" Also, your floor mics were too turned up. But other than that the orchestra was superb, the lighting effects were the coolest, and the vocals were spot on! Great job to everyone! No weak voices. None. Nor weak dancers. 5/5*
You did a great job! I can't believe that this is a high school production. This performance is better than many of the tour productions you can see here on YouTube. Mungojerrie + Rumpleteazer are so cute! And the girl who sings at the beginning of "Macavity" is fantastic!! You as Skimble are very good and funny. He's one of my favourite characters. we this this last year at my school and i was a chorus cat and understudy for demeter. our school won an awars for our production, this year, we're doing 42nd street!
This is one of the only productions (of anything) I've seen where the men are infinitely better singers than the women. A lot of the sopranos, in particular, are very pitchy.
for me, it doesn't have the same energy that the movie version does... but mind you, those guys are professionals. This being a high school production, i think you guys did an insanely awesome job.

Yes this was live! We always have a live orchestra for our musicals. It consisted of some students, parents, as well as some hired musicians.

we this this last year at my school and i was a chorus cat and understudy for demeter. our school won an awars for our production, this year, we're doing 42nd street!

This is one of the only productions (of anything) I've seen where the men are infinitely better singers than the women. A lot of the sopranos, in particular, are very pitchy.
The staging and musicians are AWESOME, though.

for me, it doesn't have the same energy that the movie version does... but mind you, those guys are professionals. This being a high school production, i think you guys did an insanely awesome job.
