i had an 900 turbo 16 valve from 91...it was spectacular to drive. the problem is if you want to buy an old one in a good condition...they became insanely expensive...so saab...if you are not able to build cool cars nowadays, then get the old blueprints a build the old ones again. truly the automotive world is missing something since 15 years!!

I still have more love my 85 900 than my 03 9-5 or my current 04 9-3. I must say I like the new 9-3 with the wrap around clam style hood and clean sharp lines. The new 9-5 is just plain bad. SAAB is a true individuals brand for those who strive to be unique, and GM needs to embrace the heratige that is SAAB and not mainstream the brand to attract the BMW/VOLVO driver. All true SAAB lovers must band together and bring back our beloved brand.

What i meant was that since GM bought the SAAB name, the cars just become more and more mainstream... The old SAABs had soul and personality, the new ones are just plain and boring to look at... And the revised 9-3 is just awful, it looks like an Opel... And I'm saying this even though I'm a genuine SAAB freak, who just refuses to drive any other brands...

you rule, i hate the gm saabs!! gm can never get anything right,the old 900 turbos are still way cooler than anything made by gm, gm should do less re-badging of cars like the 9-2x that no-one bought and the 9-7x which is just a trailblazer with lowered suspension. bottom line gm sucks!

Dutte84 - General Motors is the hand that feeds Saab. Without them they would be a gonna. GM has just put a massive investment into Saab. Thats why they can release the new 9-2x the 9-4x and the revised 9-3. Without Gm they wouldnt have the money to make cars at all. Learn the facts before you slate the parent company!
