Both models have there good and bad bits , the old one had better weapon features but this one is more accurate , but suffers at the main weapon section , great vids ! :)

No offense, but that website isn't to good fir mini figures. It's like 100 dollars for watto and like 8 dollars for a heavy mandolorian. And on top of that, it's 500 for jabba's sail barge. It's only good for current sets.

i think the price per piece is steep because the pieces are bigger if you look at the giant windshield that counts as one piece and alot of other huge pieces count as one piece also. I think legos doing it more on size, not price per piece anymore

I'm a kid myself and i'd give this a 10 1/2 for kids, and still 9 for others, it's a great set to pair with another starship such as the Millennium Falcon or anything else, i enjoy doing stellar battle with either this vs. one starship or this vs. 2 Interplanetary Combat Fighters, such as the X-Wing or Vulture Droid.

One note...my 1st set came with one bag 1 and it drove me crazy...missing some early pieces and the figures. I figured it out in about 20 minutes that someone lifted a bag. The replacement box came with TWO bag 1s. Not sure if that's everyone, but if you only have 1 bag one, and no Fett inside, he's not hiding on Camino. He was lifted. I'm sure this will be common as it's a tempting steal, but the two bag 1s make early detection of missing parts troublesome.

you need to be more clear on what young kids mean. like in 1 vid you said that young kids were like 8 and under but in the review you said that young kids were 11 and under can you make up you mind? i think that 9 and under would be good for young kids. but that's just me i don't have 2 kids.

@Samzilla33 When I say young kids it is usually based on the ages recommended on the box. So if the ages are 9-14 then young would be 9, 10, or 11. Some sets are 7-12, then young would be 7, 8, or 9. So that is why it can change. Hope that answers it for you.

@brickshowtv Man, does ANYONE get this but me? The ages mean the RECOMMENDED BUILDING DIFFICULTY AGE. Just today some kid wanted a set, but it said 7-12, and his dad said no. All Lego's are easy to build, and if the kids cant build them, the parents can! Heck, I was building the first Hogwarts castle when I was 4! So don't go by the ages; Its only the age that may be able to build it better, but that doesn't mean anyone under that age cant build it.
