@maxa123456789 Generally we use 6-8' medium heavy action cat rods, either a big beefy spinning or baitcaster (best with a bait-feeder/bait-clicker option), and either monofilament (30 lb. berkley big-game) or braided (65-80 lb. suffix/powerpro). Couple that with a slip-sinker rig (main line with a heavy sinker from 2-6 oz., barrel swivel, 8-24" leader, big ol' circle or j- hook), tipped with a live bullhead, creek chub, or sucker, and you're in business.
