Damon would never hurt Elena, even though she betrayed him, he likes her and will eventually love her. But it sucks for Damon because Elena is a constant reminder of Katherine (who he lost thanks to Stefan) Katherine apparently wants Stefan more than Damon. Stefan always gets the girl, and I think this time Damon should get Elena. Damon would love/adore/cherish her more than Stefan ever could. Just my opinion. =]

I feel the exact same way. Stefan and Edward Cullen resembles each other in a lot of ways because they're both so serious, intense and uptight.

Damon has a little bit of everything, because he has all these different sides to him - He just knows when to show them, at the right times.

He thinks he is a monster and he just makes Elena look like a weak girl beside him. The chemistry is not really there between them, for me at least. Katherine, the woman HE loves, until now at least. Stefan always makes Damon out to be the only bad guy here, but as we saw in this episode, Damon was a very sweet and even naive young man before he was turned in to a vampire. But Stefan thinks so little of Damon and always expects the worst from him that it doesnt matter to Damon anymore. Damon would never have killed Elena there. He just threatened her because he knew that Stefan believed that he would kill her. Because he has no faith in him.

The problem is not that I hate Stefan just because I love Damon. I wish it was that simple. My problem with Stefan is that he is self-righteous and thinks he is so much better than everybody else when he actually isnt. So in this clip we see that Stefan gives the book back to Damon, so Damon can open a tomb where 27 vampires are starving which means they can kill the WHOLE town only to save ONE life, and that is Elena's. stefan is far from stupid, and i think he is quite adorable. stefan/elena have fantastic chemistry. ive thought about damon/elena but damon always manipulates people stefan does not. stefan cares deeply for elena and it shows everytime they have been togather esp after turning point. i want damon happy i am not by any means anti damon just dont want him with elena. just because stefan choose what is morally right doesnt make him any less vamp, who knows maybe he will eventually.
