Great song but Alison is too far down in the mix sounds like they used her as a background singer more than it being a duet not right when she has such an angelic voice especially for a song like this

Interesting factoid that Alison Krauss, along with the likes of LeAnn Womack (for example, another fabulous female vocalist) are the background vocalists on quite a few songs for various artists (Cross Canadian Ragweed comes to mind). Their voices are so angelic you are right; perhaps that's why they sing back up so often - their voices mix so well in country songs.
