Great band whose videos were often oddly inappropriate to the song. This one is a mess of poorly shot close-ups, an addiction to the zoom button, and some sort of political message that is so ineptly stated it's impossible to tell what it is.

i just read the lyrics, it seems to me that the song is about the publics lack of freedom due to the government and authoroties, funny enough when i read the lyrics it makes me think about the berlin wall (which was still standing when this song came out)

its a very up beat song but the lyrics seem to be about people suffering

The 1987 album called "Dancing in Berlin" released on CD (Japan) contains all extended tracks (incl. "Like Flames"). It's hard to find in stores but try a google search...

This song is amazing and I can't understand why it wasn't a big hit. I love "No More Words" and "Dancing In Berlin" which were released two years earlier. Also "Metro", but "Take My Breath Away" is total rubbish - yet was their most successful song here in Australia, probably only due to Top Gun.

count 3 and pray was first album i ever bought I was 13 years old and wore the tape out had to replace with 2nd copy and then lost that, took me over 12 years to find another copy on CD and still my favourite album ever. This song was what did it watching The Tube one sat morning i discovered Berlin and fav fav song is Pink & Velvet with David Gilmore on guitar - just pure class!
