They might as well have put a band in there with him. Or he could have done a stripped down acoustic version to go with this video.

For me this appears to be a description of a battle of love. Love is a battlefild... His "walls" falled down in that war, and he's unprotected, asking to build that fortress around her heart.

The actor you're wondering about is Billy Curtis, and I don't think he was in "Charlie..." However, he was one of the munchkins in "Wizard of Oz." He also turned in a great performance as Mordecai in "High Plains Drifter."

For me this appears to be a description of a battle of love. Love is a battlefild... His "walls" falled down in that war, and he's unprotected, asking to build that fortress around her heart.

Aren't the words about a failed marriage/or relationship that is in trouble? I love how he reflects on what he did and that he wanted to fix things. That was admirable. I just love Sting.

Sting writes lyrics way above and beyond the comprehension of the average American brain. Anyone who believes that has probably paid homage to lyrics that Jessica Simpson sings or the popular rap artists of these insane days. They are so infantile and meaningless so it no challenge for "grey matter! It's a sad commentary to the state of intelligent thought in our society.

I agree. I believe that Sting is a brilliant man; one of the greatest songwriters of my generation. I'm so happy to have grown up with his music and feel blessed that I have the opportunity to embark on this musical journey with him. I'm forever a Sting/Police fan.

Gah, there's tabs of this on the internet, but they don't show the full chords that he uses...I want to learn to play it like he does, not half-ass it and play only the major notes of each chord. MUST STUDY!
