I found a 95 cobra SVT and Im going to look at it tomorrow. I know they arent too fast stock but this one has headers, cold air intake, 70mm throttle body, high performance pulleys, a chip, and a MSD coil and cap. Do you think it will have some power? If so how much hp do you think its pushin?
nobody please don't get me wrong,I want an 03-04 Cobra so bad i can taste but I'm looking at a 95 Cobra to buy right now. 5 liters are easier and cheaper to tune. I just love the look of 95-98 Cobras. Just my opinion.
Same way I feel man, I want a 03-04 Cobra but right now I can't really afford paying $18k so I am trying to get a 94-95 Cobra I already have the list of mods I want to put on it... :P with my list I should get 300hp but then afterwards I could always take out a loan and buy a supercharger and then I bet it would hang with the stock 03-04 Cobras.
um the 1995 cobras some with gt-40 heads. i have one just like that but its the convertible with the hard top included!!! we shoould start a 95 cobra club???
Got a 95 camaro its ok i miss my cobra want a 03 cobra. camaro has 49,000 miles very clean put flowmasters and k&n sys on it i think i like my cobra better i think it could take the camaro
yea I want an 03 too, those are mean. My bro has a 94GT that had 38,000 miles.. but i hink now it has like 54k. The car feels, sounds and just looks meaner than my cobra.. I swear it's faster too... but he can't shift worth a crap so I win everytime :) he has faster times but i still win heads up lol.
yea and we also have a black 2003 10th anniversary cobra svt convertable. but its harder to drive than the 95 cobra cause the 03is harder to clutch. its like a racing clutch.
yea I'm about to buy this nice ass cobra 95', but the best thing is the guy who I'm buying it from boosed it from 240 hp to 440 hp it's BA check it out

Well if you put $600 bucks into the stock motor with like underdrive pullies, headers, cold air intake, bigger throttle body & maybe a proformance chip... that would booast you from 240 to about 290 then it would be alot more peppy
I love GT-40 Heads...They make such a nice rumble...Wouldn't trade them for anything...I'm happy just to see another 5.0 cobra...Felt like I was alone on here...

1994-1995 were 5.0's and had diff rear bumper and hood than the 96-98...

Actually the 03-04 Cobra is rated at 410 HP. Ford lied and said it was 390 HP. I have an 03 Cobra myself.

just buy the 96 4.6 stock 305hp thats what i did... 4 liters less but its still a cobra stang... looks better imo and runs alot better.
