To charlienlizzie I lost my 1st husband in 1997 to an accident on his job. I was 32 years at that time. I am remarried with a 9 year old son. It is a hard journey, just trust in GOD and let him share your pain. Things will get better. I will keep you in my prayers.

Huh???? I'm sorry but I must correct you alittle. Yes God did create Lucifer but NOT with the intent to decieve mankind. God loved lucifer and was his greatest and most beautiful angel. It was lucifer that wanted to Share gods power. And so there was a great revolt in heaven and god cast lucifer and 1/3 of his angles out of heaven. Like us, Lucifer was given a choice to serve god. And now Lucifer that once great and bright morning star Satan himself will pay the ultimate price one day
It is a shame that the origin of Lucifer is never really explained in any version of the Bible. The fact is that Lucifer/Satan is a creation of God and was created with a deliberate purpose in mind--to deceive the frail minded human species. God only created us in his image, not His substance. We were created to make poor choices. That is what God intended. We are the perfect hosts for Satan. So, God created the underpinnings for evil to flourish in this world.
But the scriptures do speak of those used as objects of God's wrath. God didn't make the devil to destroy people and he is not responseable for the fall of man, but I think God used him to test man. also, God did not create evil, and he makes all things good. I believe that evil is not the opposite of good, but rather what good becomes when it is twisted out of shape. it is good to be proud of ones accomplishments, until that pride is perverted or love oneself, until it until it becomes selfish

What I mean is, while the devil would love to corrupt creation, people are already born with a dark nature that not even the devil could change. Though he certianly makes it harder to control.

Well personally, through various traumas, I've come to know the dark side of me. I kow what I'm capable of. That's why I am more than happy for Christ to take up residence in me. He's so very welcome to take over. I don't think for one minute that I am good, but I 'know' Christ is. :-)
