Sounds like dialectic interpretation is a 'polarization' of signs i.e. elimination of neutrality. What does it mean to shake someone's hand and what does it mean to refuse to shake someone's hand? One identifies himself as a friend the other one apears to make a declaration of resentment. There seems to be no way to express neutrality, so eventually the meaning changes and shaking someone's hand becomes a demonstration of neutrality rather then friendship.
