whats with you self righteous aholes "its not lizzy"...."its not alice in chains" these guys are musicians they live eat and breathe music when a guy dies on a jobsite they dont shut the project down they carry on cuz thats what they do....if one member decides hes gonna be a junky and kill himself I dont see why the rest of the guys have to suffer I say give it all you got life goes on
THIS BLOWS MY MIND! Are they heading for the USA? I appreciate the singer not trying to cop a Lynott. Not knowing his vocal style to me it sounds more like he's trying to sound like Sykes. All in all I will certainly see them if they come to Phoenix. I'd pay to see Scott & Brian everytime. I can most certainly accept Vivian Campbell on second guitar...no secrete that he's a G.Moore student...great job!
@AWGMJANS louzy ?? hmmm wouldnt go that far ..hes not phil but at least hes not trying to be phil like other tribute band singers...they are simply carrying on the work that phil did
wtf...................wanted to like it but i can't, maybe it's cause i just got done reading the rocker and jut learned still in love with you on my guitar! anyway best of luck to them
if they came close enough might go to the show......................
Ricky Warwick was frontman of the Almighty. I was there and this line up are no tribute band. They were fantastic. Did you call Deep Purple a tribute band when Coverdale and Hughes joined, or Black Sabbath when Dio took over from Ozzy. Line ups change and sadly Phil can't be there, others choose not to be there. Be thankful that Thin Lizzy are still out there and sounding as good as this.
exactly,man. i get the same flack when people call kiss a tribute band. if the band is still around then its not a tribute no matter who's in the lineup
i am a very good riend of rickys and i have known him for many years, i worked with him in the almighty back in the beginning and i have to say i am soo proud of him now that he is the front man with the legendary thin lizzy and i must say he did very well being himself on stage and not try to take over phil well done ricky my good friend
@Tattiebogle64 Totaly 100% agree with your comments my friend. I too was at this gig and they were blindingly good. I have my tickets already ordered for the January 19th 2012 gig at he Glasgow Barrowlands. Listening to the London Indigo2 gig on cd right now. Sheer magic. Roll on January 2012 !!!
@ediblehorse I'm riding a motorcycle up from Florida to New York City in 40 degree weather to see them on the 25th. The girlfriend doesn't like it but she's not invited anyway.

i have no idea who ricky is...
sykes kinda blew as the front man.
if these come chicago. i'd see them . nice setlists
ediblehorse 1 year ago
@ediblehorse
having said that, this a farce.
without philo the band is just a tribute band. but....
this is a better tribute than the sykes driven version
