I love Carl Palmer, but this was completely boring. I could have played drums on this, and I have no formal training. (I do play drums) Who are the other two drummers, and why are they even there?
@TIMOTHYSAARINEN - Read the notes - it was the Palmer Family Showdown featuring Carl, his brother Steve, and nephew Ian. It was a great day with some excellent drumming. You most certainly would not have been bored on the day.
@jemmojemmo, My bad. I should have read the description. It makes more sense now. Yes, I would have loved to have been there. Carl Palmer has been my favorite Prog drummer since 1973. He's as incredible as ever, just not much going on here. I am pretty sick of Peter Gunn. I was lucky enough to see ELP here in Maine in 1977. (Unfortunately, without the orchestra) Such a great show. Those '70's ELP albums still amaze me. Nothing like them before or since. Thanks for the heads up!
Well, I saw CP with this guitar player. There were 50 people only in the audience. However, Carl and his band played 100%, real pros. He just likes playing his drums. He is like the animal from Muppet Show.
I used to be Carl's fan for years and years. His band is really awesome, totally brilliant, but he keeps pulling down his own legend more and more by doing what he does nowadays... he's slightly becoming a caricarture of himself... wait, I guess he already is... and that really DOES hurt to see because I still do adore him very much...
if im watching this correctly carl palmer got together with his twin brother carl palmer and his other twin brother carl palmer and his fourth twin brother carl palmer and the ghost kurt kobain to do this
I figure that the drummer on the left is Carl's son and the drummer on the right is Carl's brother. And the guitar player reproduced almost all Keith Emerson parts (from the "In Concert" version of that song). Very cool!!

Unfortunately I agree totally. Someone should tell him what to do musically and what not.

@Boimarin Hi, I was just wondering what you meant by 'becoming a caricature'
I think I understand what you mean though,,,
