I just played not only the 3DS version of Starfox 64,but Starfox 64 for the first time ever last night(Before anyone gets mad,I at least owned and played the shit out of the original Starfox).I was blown away by how awesome this game plays and looks on the 3DS.

I love what they did to Solar in the 3DS version. For one, they ACTUALLY made it look like the surface of a star! The N64 version just looks like a liquid desert!

PS: Since I heard about those N64 games on the 3DS, my instant reaction was to think that they were just ports so I didn't even search about them... A (PORT) isn't a remake...

Wow, the 3DS version shows the sun EM fields and huge graphical improvement, I didn't know some of the games were remakes... I think that there's no reason to just take old games and play them on new consoles... I think that the fact that it's not identical to the original is a good thing... The 3DS already is known as the "console of useless ports for nostalgic people", in my opinion a remake is better than a useless port. Still the 3DS needs 100% new games to get some respect...

Starfox Assault probably had the best version of the sector Y/Solar theme i own both SFA and the original, for me personally i prefer the SFA version a bit more than the original . the 3DS version though....i didn't really like it

I deffinetly (sorry I can't spell) like the lava plumes in the N64 version better, but everything else, from the lava to the background, is so much better in the 3DS version
