At this Day on the Green Concert, before AC/DC was due to go on, the managers couldn't find Bon. They finally found him drunk/fucked up lying in a pool of water covered by iguanas, geckos and other big lizards they had in the back stage area. They got him up, he immediately went on stage, started cranking it out and never missed a note. Sex, drugs, and Rock'n'Roll.
bon never, ever got trashed before a gig. he always put the band above himself. i read it in the ACDC book. plus no body in the band ever promoted the use of drugs (possible exceptions to pot)
Shit!! They truly are one of the best bands on earth :D!!!! havent seen many "real" oldschool recordings of them preforming live like this O.o No one can match AC/DC on rocking like they did in the early days!! (they still rock hard but theyre gettin old :P)
AC/DC 4ever!!! Long live one of the best bands on earth!!!
Dog eat Dog was originally on the Let There Be Rock album that came out in 1977. If you look up AC/DC Live at Glasgow from 1978 you will see awesome versions of Dog eat Dog live with Bon Scott.
1979, sweet. Back when it was cool to have bright colors painted to the stage instead of lights, and when conserts took place during the day. Awesome song though
Let there be rock on blu ray. Got to get it for Bon!!!

Wow, I was there.
16 years old. Visiting from NJ, I spent the entire day on the green.
Such a great memory. My spot was right about the view at zoom in around 1:30.
Thanks for posting. Any others from this day?

Day on the Green in Oakland, AC/DC was the opening act. AC/DC - Van Halen - Pat Travers - Foreigner - Aerosmith...man was that a great day.

Sorry, got that one wrong...AC/DC was actually the 3rd act on this day, Ted Nugent headlined...and it was another great day.
Previous show I mentioned was their POWERAGE tour which was a year earlier.
