If there is 20km/h wind and the plane flies with the wind, the ground speed is 20km/h higher than the air speed.

It doesn't cost that much you get off with aroun 1000 dollars and have alot of range and durability. uhf radio is A MUST HAVE AND SAME WITH FPV 1000mw SYSTEM TOO. with both of those you can have up to 10 mile range. you can get that and epp airplane for around 1000 dollars including ground station without monitor though you can use your laptop.
