alienware's price/hardware ratio is outrageous. gateway's fx series are the bang for buck . also, you can throw MSI and Asus in the mix as well.

thhe core i7 920 but not the 965 (wich is the exterme edition) dude the 920 running at 2.66 ghz oytperformes the qx9770 in most benchmarks
and it is overclockable in air till 4.6 ghz
