and an old consistent driver(R.Schumacher or Barrichello) and an engine that is quick and reliable (BMW)

I agree. Monteiro wasn't a great driver (perhaps he could have challenged Sutil in '07 at Spyker, unlike Albers and [God forbid] Yamamoto), but he certainly was better than Albers. The only points Albers scored were in the 2005 USGP (6 car field); Monteiro additionally scored in wet Spa, and finished the first 18 races of 2005. A shame he was booted in favor of the Dutchman Albers (because of the Spyker takeover; Dutch team, Dutch driver).

If you were really inside the team you would know the... differences between Albers' car and Monteiro's car. The fact is Albers is a fast driver, but very unreliable and pretty immature.

Even though, he had his place guaranteed in the team, because he was married with the boss' daughter...

When it came to the news that the team could be sold to a Dutch company, whoooo... strange things started to happen... wrong setups, strange quali sessions, Monaco's pit wall pull-over... forgot that?

I'm portuguese, but... Monteiro was no close to Kubica. Albers was a fast, unreliable pilot. Monteiro was not so fast, but very reliable. They were just different.
