@01musicfan" Country Boy" was recorded Nov.4, 1958 with Walter Nelson, guitar, Earl Palmer(!) drums, Adolphus Alsbrook, bass, Plas Johnson, baritone sax and Herb.Hardesty tenor sax. Between January ´58 and summer ´60 I think the great saxman LEE ALLEN did not play with Fats.....and Paul McCartney is a big Fatsfan, on the 2xCD " Going Home, a Tribute To Fats Domino", he sings " I Want to Walk You Home"
Welcome.

Love that saxophone! Fats was a huge influence on the world of pop music. I believe Paul McCartney was one of his biggest fans.

The Sax was most likely provided by either Lee Allen or Heb Hardesty, both were excellent. Thanks for commenting!
