11 was an MMO but it was okay. People say it sucks, but they've never played it. That's like saying you don't like shrimp but have never eaten it. It's a great MMO,pretty BAMF if it were an RPG but honestly, it doesn't compare to FFX. FFXII and FFXIII are pretty good as video games, but also don't compare to this game.

This game is the rise and fall of Square Enix. It is the best game of the series, but also the standard that they may not be able to meet.

I agree with you but I don't think we should jump the gun on FF13 just yet, from what I've read and even seen its looking very promising.

I really hope I dont get my hopes up for it and it sucks terribly, but I love the characters so far especially Lightning, Fang, and Snow, and overall the story looks very deep. Hopefully it's the great game we've been waiting for that will help future next gen RPG's shine.

I have watched several FF13 videos, and from those it seems like that game focuses way too much on being hip and speeded.

FF10 is the kind of game that can be narrated in a book and still be beautiful, without graphics or anything.

I think a truly great game needs to be done with 100% passion - hunger for money always screws up creativity in some way.

I've played every final fantasy except 1, 2, 5 and the newest online mmo. I got 7,8 and 9 when they originally came out. If you read before I said that 7 is my all time favourite and then 13 so learn to flame. Also, the battle system in 13 is the best from any of them. It's the most dynamic, interesting and exciting.

I'm curious to find out whether or not you played on after you finished the main story, as anyone can finish the main story in a Final Fantasy relatively easy (9 being the prime example, the last boss was quite easy). But like all other final fantasies, it's much more of a challenge after the main quest is finished. In my opinion, the only reason 7 trumps 13 for me is nostalgia where 13 is the better game but 7 is a classic.

Yeah let's just hit auto battle every time and use a potion every once in a while. Ok, how can you honestly say that game wasn't that bad? That was the worst game I ever played. Period. Yuna and Riku give up all the character development to become treasure hunters. You change abilities by changing clothes. The story is utter shit. The graphics were horrible. Yuna acts like some 14 year old girl. The ONLY good part in that game was seeing Wakka And Lulu again. Well first off the main guys name is Tidus ( unless u changed it @ start ) and his fathers name is Jecht =P and he became Sin - after a summoner ( and in his case Yuna's Father ) defeats Sin its needed to transform one of the guardians into a overpowerd final Aeon to defeat Sin then after ( forgot but thought it was 1 ~ 10 years ) Sin comes back and the Guardian who became the final Aeon takes his place as a new Sin.
