It was hella good. Some of it was released on a VHS called Legend of the Crystal Coconut in America, so you can watch it that way (or, likely, here on Youtube). Come into it with an open mind ;P The Pirate songs are some of the best in any kids show really.

Go look at Super Smash Bros Brawl screens. This TV show couldn't be bother with CG fur, but the Wii's got it.

I don't remember much of the actual show, except the graphics were crude and the animation was incredibly stiff. Oh, and they sang for absolutely no reason way too often.

I found this old show by accident, and when I saw K.Rool I was genuinely surprised at the detail they put into him, namely the etchings on his bracelets. Still, why did they give him a kitchen towel-sized cape to wear? Because they were lazy and couldn't make good cape effects with their technology? XP

Probably lack of ratings or Nintendo wasn't happy with it. One of the two... I think that was the reason the "Mario Super Show" was cancelled. Nintendo got tired of it.

LOL! Thats true... If I remember correctly, didn't the Mario have musical numbers? (For example, during the chasing scenes.) I remember that the "Super Mario 3" cartoons have musical numbers. I HATED THOSE!!!
