@calandman Linn is a Houston based corporation that operates in California and Texas. They were established in 2003 to buy out good producing fields. Linn Energy has over 500 employees. The Brea-Olinda field has gone through a handful of operators in the past 15 years, Linn Purchased the field in 2006 from BlackSand energy and Aera transferred 655 wells to Linn in 2007. Linn is one of the largest independent oil companies in America.
